I've been thinking lately, there is a few games that sport a supposed last-stand or hoard mode, you all know it: minimal number of players taking on a huge number of opponents, but what if there was a mode of the opposite?
The way I pictured it to play out in an ideal situation would be a fair number of players pitted against one giant super-powered opponent, and I dont mean giant as "larger than normal" I mean actually stomping around trying to crush players, have each rounds difficulty ramp via rank of opponent, and I know some games employ this style of system, hell shadow of the collossus was built around it, but imagine it in a game like Halo or Half-life, being stepped on by a grunt or eaten whole by a headcrab would be quite funny in comparison to the usual deaths in such games.
But I digress, if a mode like this were employed in a game you like, online or off, would you play it or find it annoying?
