Just a quick question as I wanted to see if we had a lot of diversity in this category. Me personally I use a track ball mouse as I find that only using my fingers instead of my entire hand really helps reaction time. Also I don't have to worry about bumping into things moving a mouse around.

Currently using Razer Naga [http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.169418900/categoryId.35208800], so laser mouse, with cord, and more buttons than gamepad. I started using laser mouses about 12 years ago, my previous was wireless Logitech but it started eating thorugh batteries way too fast after 3 years so i switched to my current toy.
Since most of my gaming time i spend in MMOs the additional keybinds are helpful.

Wireless logitech mouse with incredibly high sensitivity. Was punishing at first and nobody else can actually use it but now i've got used to it I can navigate my cursor across both my screens without actually moving my wrist. Higher sensitivity = less effort

Just a cheap wired one. I'm planning on buying a Razer DeathAdder soon, though.

I still use the $10 mouse I bought on sale at Dick Smith 5 or 6 years ago. It hasn't steered me wrong so I don't see the need to get a new one.

A standard wired Razer DeathAdder mouse. I have no real need for a wireless mouse, and since the Mamba or other wireless gaming mice cost twice of what the Deathadder does, it would just be a waste of money.

I use a cyborg R.A.T 7; it's an ok gaming mouse but it has detection problems on all my really nice mouse pads, so I had to buy a crappy bright blue 99 cent one which I don't like the feel of.
I have a nice Logitech gaming mouse but it was a regular cord instead of the nice ones which are braided in fabric and it slowly got worn against my desk and I'm afraid it will break if I use it anymore.

Logitech G5 for gaming and general purpose. My favourite input device is my SE Wacom Intuos3 A5 Wide though.

I used to use a cheap $15 mouse

then my grandma gave me her nicer one...a logitech one...I can definetly feel the difference, however the cheap one was just fine

I have a "NO FEAR" brand mouse pad with a skull on it, only because it came as a cheap pack with a laptop bag

Logitech G5 Laser Gaming Mouse. Had it for 5-6 years now and it's still working perfectly. Amazing mouse.

Using a Razer Mamba, mostly in Wireless mode, but occasionally corded.

I did hear about people having problems with it, but I haven't experienced any fuss.

Running it at its peak DPI of 5600, although tuned down on the software side so that the cursor is actually controllable.
Still running rather high sensitivity though, most people I know never borrow my PC to check e-mails.

The high DPI makes it extremely responsive and accurate to an insane degree.
