g700, technically wireless but I use it in wired mode for reliability

have a cloth crystalline mat, tho it feels just like any normal mat ( in-fact I think the crystals scratch the mouse feet up a little.)
it's a roccat sense adrenaline blue

both way too expensive, but so much better than a mx518 that i had for like.. 6 years? i had a razor naga but it got destroyed under my uber-click in 4 months playing various on-line games
i ate stock mice before my mx-518 like 2 a month, but they ere Really cheap.

( the tiny little plastic push-rods deformed at the end under the pressure, and failed to click 1/10 clicks, or double-clicked 1/20 or so

also, because someone will ask, yes stock mice are tasty, nom.

The Microsoft X8 Wireless gaming mouse. Snagged it for a third of it's regular price and despite the mouse wheel losing it's resistance and going free spin, works beautifully.

On my second dynex mouse that cost less than $20.

Last one lasted 5 years, so I considered it money well spent.

Specifically a Razer Naga but it's a luxury. Any old laser mouse would do since "gaming mice" is just a marketing term to fleece money from people. I just like the, what is it, 17 or something buttons on mine. Totally don't need it, but sure do love it.

Kensington Expert Mouse. It's about the best trackball I've ever had. I kind of wish it had a couple more buttons, but since it's lasted about 8 years, I can't complain.

Used to use a Razer Deathadder, but it broke a while ago so I switched back to my old Logitech MX500. Both are good old standard wired.

Currently using Razer Naga [http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.169418900/categoryId.35208800], so laser mouse, with cord, and more buttons than gamepad. I started using laser mouses about 12 years ago, my previous was wireless Logitech but it started eating thorugh batteries way too fast after 3 years so i switched to my current toy.
Since most of my gaming time i spend in MMOs the additional keybinds are helpful.
Same here. I don't play MMOs, but all the side keys are amazing for macros. I have a few that click about 30 times in a second, which make crafting stuff in Minecraft so much faster. A long time ago, my dad had a wireless mouse, and it would only die when I was in the middle of a game getting shot at, never when I was on the internet or anything else.

Trackball all the way. More control, faster panning, no mouse pad required, super easy to clean and maintain. I have been using the same trackball mouse for 12 years, and I used my previous trackball for over a decade.
Bam!

I love my Logitech trackball. Amazing for gaming, amazing for design/art work.

Gamers who use wirless mice should be ashamed of themselves. They could give out any moment and then you'll lose. Worse, if you're playing MP, you might get pwned. How can you live like that!?

briefly tried a gaming mouse but had realised it was for a rightie. Not bothered changing since.

Logitech G5 (wired, Laser) got it with my first gaming computer and its still going strong, I have very little desire to get any other mouse. . . I like my peripherals wired, wireless just seems like it would be a pain if you spent as many hours as I do on the computer.
