I used to use a trackball, back in the Quake 1/2 era. Then I got one of the first MS optical releases and found it was better sensitivity-wise. Currently using a Razer DeathAdder which pwns just about everything else I've had. I don't think I'll replace that with one of the newer Razers tho, since too many buttons limits my functionality.
My wife uses the WoW Steelseries mouse and it works pretty good too but I don't like the "metal" portions since they corrode bad from hand sweat.
Also, I prefer wired mice for gaming since wireless does have a slight possibility for delay.

Wired Razer mouse. It has two sensitivity buttons on top but not in a place where I hit them by accident and two buttons on the side that I use for games.

I use the Microsoft Sidewinder X5 Gaming mouse. They're not the cheapest but they are really good, I like the option to swap between three dpi settings on the fly. Very handy for shooters.

I've had the standard, wired, 3 button laser mouse that came with my PC for so long that the colour has worn off on the buttons. It has served me well expect for the occasional catch.

Normal, I'd like a wireless one though but I don't play like FPS'es so theres really not that much need for a decent mouse.

Don't flame me, but I use a mouse pad. It serves its function, and it's really accurate in short distances. As for quick and long moves, not so much, but oh well.

Logitech wireless w/out trackball.

I have a laptop so the wireless is kind of necessary.
And I play on the couch, so I kind of need the laser thingy instead of a trackball thing

I use one of those tiny Microsoft notebook mouses.
Ever since I started using it for my notebook every regular size mouse feels huge, so I've settled on just using this one for everything.

Another very happy Logitech MX518 user here, an excellent gaming mouse that's dirt cheap and very reliable.

Usually my laptop touchpad, but if I have my mouse, then that. It's just a standard Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse.

Razer Lachesis. Reliable, 4000 dpi, helps me kick ass. Having the xkcd mouse pad helps too.
