So when I run table top, I have always just made up my stories and even my most of my monster stats. I'm just used to doing things on the fly. (And, at least as far as people are willing to tell me, it has worked out.) I have, as a player been run through a few modules and enjoyed them.
But I'm thinking of running a Call of Cathullu game and every time I have played in one of those, the Keeper was using a module and am wondering if I should take up the practice. So:
1) When you play table top, do you use modules or not? Why?
2) Any advice specific to Call of Cathullu would be greatly appreciated.
