Hey guys, I've been curious whether or not I should get Too Human. so far, I've been hearing positive notes from reviewers like G4 and Gamerpro, but I've also heard some bad stuff from reviewers like Yahtzee(obviously) and Destructoid, so I'm just curious whether or not I should actually get it.

If you are rich then yes. If not save for something with more replay value and gameplay time.

I'd get fable 2, or Saints Row 2 if you liked the first one.

Too Human's nothing special apart from being a stick mash rather than a button mash. Better towards end but is pretty short.

P.S. Poll?

I would avoid it if I were you and spend your money on a better game. Granted I've only played the demo but there wasn't anything in there that made me want to buy the game. Horrible combat, infuriating camera, and as dull as ditch water.

If you liked the demo, it's likely you'll enjoy the game though a few of the game's flaws (especially the camera bugs) don't show up as much there. Overall I find it a good but flawed game, but that's going to vary by personal taste.

As to those bleating about it not having enough replay value, I just went through the Ice Forest with my level 33 Champion and it's a different level if you use the "Aesir Teleport" option as recommended; that auto-levels the opposition to your character level instead of using the scripted values. Four freakin' Trolls in mutual support formation, one an Ice Troll and one a Poison Troll... mutter, mumble.

Besides, you can't access big chunks of the world-tree until you've finished at least one run-through and gained the ability to burn away the Nidhog tendrils.

If you have doubts, rent it first. Me, I bought Too Human with some gift certificates and don't regret it.

Already did, It wasn't too bad for me.
It wasn't too bad for me either, then I played the full game at a friend's house and decided it was playable crap

I'd avoid it. When I played the demo, it was nothing but a mindless brawler with flawed melee system and crappy camera.

I dug it. Good mindless fun but not 'omg you have to play this'.

I'd say it has more in common Diablo then say Ninja Gaiden. So if you go into it expecting repetitive grinding for loot drops it has its charms.

Eh. It's okay. Not horrible, but not good by any means. I'm hoping it'll improve with the next one.
