I clicked the fail option purely for what it's become. It used to be great, but has become more than a little tedious.
Plus, there are obvious factual errors that just can't be ignored.
1) The Veyron isn't the fastest any more and no amount of arse kissing to VAG will make it so. Stop it!
2) The fastest car around their track that can still get over a speed bump (and is also used as a daily driver), is the Ultima GTR720 at 1m12.8s. Top Gear have ignored numerous requests to feature the GTR over the years. There's only one reason I can think of, it's a full 5 seconds quicker than the current board leader, kinda removes the will it/won't it suspense the next time they test the latest 800k hypercar.
Plus, Clarkson, I just can't stomach him any more. The rot set in with the test of the Ariel Atom when clarkson first got a bit carried away and said "nothing on four wheels is as fast as this......nothing", which is patent, proven bullshit.......the numbers don't lie. He then proceeded to say that it was more exiting than a big bike could ever be. Really? A bold statement indeed from a man that is too insanely big to ever be anything but ludicrious on two wheels. I ride big bikes and have been in a lot of very serious cars, four wheels will never compare to two for excitement.
And hammond is in too many places on TV now. Overexposure will be his downfall. The only one I actually find interesting to watch any more is James May.
Anyway, rant over!
