Help me out here. I have some money over, and I have two choices. Get the adventure games Beyond Good & Evil and Psychonauts, or save up some more for Prototype. I seriously don't know which is best. I love action platformers and such, but then I remember that Saints Row 2, that just like Prototype includes walking around in a city murdering tons of dudes, was one of my greatest experiences when it comes to violence. So which should I get? Note that I am a 360 owner, not a PS3 owner. Also, Prototype does include lots of jumping on roofs and walls, as I've seen on trailers. God, this is hard.

Well, if you are truly in the mood for serious violence I guess it's hard to skip Prototype, but bang for your buck wise you could instead get two games for the money you already have, each of which in my opinion is a superior game. So, I say BG&E and Psychonauts. You can always save more money, and it'll be cheaper by then too!

While I still highly recommend Prototype, BG&E and Psychonauts is much better value.

No contest.

I've never played BG&E but I've heard nothing but good things about it.

As for Psychonauts, there is absolutely NO excuse for you even CONSIDERING anything else. (Unless you've already played but, but it doesn't sound like you have.)

I'd get Psychonauts just because its amazing. I still have to get to BG&E sadly. Just wait til later when Prototype is possibly cheaper and get it then. If you forget about it by then, obviously you picked the better game(s) since those 2 are actually aged.

BG&E and Psychonauts. It's a much better value; 2 for 1. Then, you can get Prototype once it hits a reasonable price range.

Psychonauts alone is worth that. Adding Beyond Good and Evil just puts it over the top. Get them.

Beyond Good and Evil/Psychonauts.
I choose these two solely on gameplay I've seen. Prototype does not appeal to me in any way, shape or form.

Just realized I can still have some money over by buying the two games off Steam cheap. Problem pretty much solved.

Definitely Beyond Good and Evil and Psychonauts. There will be other games like Prototype, but Beyond Good and Evil[/i] and Psychonauts are both one of a kind!

I usually pick the one that's easiest to obtain with such decisions.

Example:
Summer means catching up on older titles.
1. Oblivion the game of the year edition
2. Bioshock
3. Fallout 3
4. Red Faction: Guerilla

Can't find Oblivion? Buy Bioshock. Can't find that one either at that store, look for Fallout 3. No Fallout? Then I suppose I should buy Red Faction (not even close to an older title, but I can't think of some other past games. Perhaps Uncharted, but I didn't enjoy the demo that much and I don't like Nathan's voice actor much either.

Be prepared, though. For some reason stores know which games are on such lists and suddenly 'no longer have those games in stock'.

As you said, one of your options can be downloaded, therefore, easiest to obtain, choose that one.

Not really much of a decision, Beyond Good & and Evil and Psychonauts wins everything.
Yeah. With both of these games you not only get fun game play, but also interesting story lines.

With Prototype all you get is the ability to karate kick helicopters.

I don't think you made the point that you were trying to make here.

If it's jumping off roofs and walls (as well as murdering lots of dudes) that attracts you to Prototype, have you considered Crackdown?

Crackdown is probably similar to Prototype, except that you're a super-cop instead of a villain, and there's probably more driving in it (if you choose to drive, personally I found it funnier to pick up and carry my car everywhere, just because I could).

Also Crackdown should be pretty cheap now, leaving you with some money left over.
