A better comparison,

More kills or more...

grains of sand in the world

stars in the sky

people throughout history

legs on all creatures

Feathers on every bird

I'm sure it's massive I had COD4:MW1 for pc first day I got over 2000 kills (next day I got gold M60)

just going over games I've played that I remember

Well over a thousand deaths across my entire GW account not counting hencmen and heros several times that number in kills

definatley over 1000 deaths and atleast 2x more kills off my SNES alone

PSone titles shows a similar number but definintely at a higher ratio

PS2 titles pfft I've sunk atleast 1000 hours into the thing over the course of time I've had it so the total number is probably upwards of 10,000

don't even want to think of what my PC numbers are I play RTS' on it and a single match can rack up over 1000 deaths

not going on, and the numbers are probably way low guesses

just looking at one gamers 14 years career there are almost 100k total accrued deaths both in kills and player death (we'll say as an average)

Now let's assume there are say 25 million gamers in the world (not checked this is just for demonstrational purposes) and we'll say each has that 100k total acrued number

25,000,000*100,000= 2,500,000,000,000 (that's 11 zeros) 2.5 trillion with out accounting for spikes and dips not even thinking about games with difficulty settings that would have *insert deity here* throwing a controller against a wall

If you take into account games like Pandemic, it'd easily be in the trillions.

Think about. We're not talking about just people. The blocks from Tetris count too. Or maybe even your pixels of your game. They all die.

Bloody hell, I've been playing games for over 15 years now, most of them involving death, from the earliest Duke Nukem to MW2. Probably over a trillion times, but a thousand-trillion? Nah, that's a LOT.

I haven't got the faintest clue. Just, a lot. Especially when on-line, I usually end up with a number less than 1 for my kills/deaths ratio.

I was wondering...What would the count be for if you took every single kill from every single person and every single death of a being in gaming what would it end up being?
I used to play Lemmings and just press the mass suicide button when I could. =]

Are we including every storyline event such as the destruction of Alderaan in this? (With the incredible number of Star Wars games this must have happened in at least one of them)

We've been shooting stuff in gaming since a good while back, so whatever that number is I bet it's a monster huge number.
