Well it'd have to be Rugby, Ice Hockey or American Football as those are the games you intentionally smash into each other in. Rugby is more hardcore because you have no armour and actually play for a decent amount of time, not like American Football where a player averages 20 mins game time a match, and that being broken up massively.
I'd also have to say Rugby League as although players tend to be bigger in union, the fitness combined with strength I feel is unmatched by any other team sport.
I might have to concede that Hockey is the more dangerous, even field Hockey, just because 1) the ball is hard and 2) everyone is swinging sticks at each other. That said, I don't think that makes it more tough.
