Poll: Tower Defense Games

I hate them, I really do. They bore me, they go so slow, theres zero excitement and they are all exactly the same!! Enemies come from here and go to there, put turrets(orwhatever the game wants to call them) everywhere and watch them do all the work and hopefully you won't lose horribly.

To me they just aren't fun and there are WAAAAY to many of them.

Whats your opinion?

Depends on the game - yeah some are bland, but some are inventive and pass the time during lunchbreaks at work.

Same with any genre really.

I loved the South Park game on xbox, but i'm not a fan otherwise.

Blooons tower defence is good, but only when doin something else like watchin tv

ive seen me brothers playin plants vs zombies, that looks good, but ive never played it so i can't be sure

and the southpark one on xbox thats amazing, but probably thats only cause its southpark

Some are fun. Namely Plants vs Zombies and Defense Grid.

Plants Vs Zombies is charmingly addictive.

This and Bloons Tower Defence prove that anything is better with bright colours and balloons.

You dislike tower defence games, that's your opinion, but I love them.

Seeing as how I'm not too good at them, I always find them to be utterly exhilarating and tense. I fail to see how anyone, particularly on the harder levels/games could get "zero excitement" from them. The sense of accomplishment when you finally get it right is just great.

Mmmm, Tower Defence. I might go and play a bit of DTD, it's been a while...

If I stumble across one on my internet travels I will sometimes give it a whirl but I always get bored quickly. Most of the time I just hit the Stumble button again and don't even give it a look in.

why do you have a "i don't play games" option on a gamer forum?

once in awhile a TD can be alright, i played flowers vs zombies more than i played dragon age.

They pass the time. Only reason I play 'em.
But I wouldn't pay for them, that just seems silly.
