I was just wondering what peoples opinions on these guys are, as they mock a lot of important/influential people, and not just in South Park. Team America annoyed a lot of people although I personally think it was hilarious, (same with most of their work) but then I'm British and they haven't really done much to mock us (except the "Snuke"). So just wondering what the general opinion is.

Edit: I'm not sure if I made it clear enough, but I am addicted to South Park and love it.

Well, the thing is, they make fun of pretty much everything and everyone. If everyone is on an even level of mockery, it tends to be a little less offensive.

I'm British too, I find their older SP episodes better, but still enjoy the newer ones. The issue that I find is that they are relevent when hey are shown in the US. However re-runs or even just the time between US and UK showings causes it to lose much of it's humour because it is just not relevant.

They're re-showing all of the South Park episodes on Paramount Comedy 2, midway through series 5 now and loving it. I'm not sure how much i'm going to like the later episodes because the issues it pokes fun at happened so long ago.

They are the keepers of the Art of Trolling. Ancient masters have passed their knowledge down through the generations of trolling and win. Pressure from serious business has whittled the ranks down to only those two. They are our last hope for any lulz on TV.

I find them to be hilarious, and I'm not offended by any of the things they've done to make fun of groups of people that I fall into the category of.

They're generally funny with occasional flashes of sheer genius. They have, in recent years however, shown far more of a right wing bias than I'm comfortable with. A lot of their later episodes get very very preachy.

I like the fact that they make fun of EVERYONE, but do it in an intelligent(not like The Simpsons and Family Guy who just tell the same dumb Republican joke over and over agin) manner.

Its more of they have no bias at all, we are all just so used to a left wing bias that it just seems that way.

Family Guys good! I don't think Seth McFarlane even knows what Republican joke are.

Though offensive, they extend things past the point of absurdity and off of the slippery sloped precipice of stupid that there is usually a smart idea at the end of it all.

I love their humour, as risque as it might be. But it's not just humour, it's also cutting satire & social comedy disguised as crude humour.

The ones who write it off as just crude humour usually can't see past that & don't get the satire or the points made in the episodes of South Park or films.

I'm English & have seen the Snuke episode & didn't find it mocking, surely you didn't take offence at the accents? Have you tried to access an episode of South Park from their website in you live in the UK [http://www.southparkstudios.com/episodes/notavailable/index.php?country_code=GB]?

I found this to be hilarious, endearing type of mockery.

They also did something similar forOther [http://www.southparkstudios.com/episodes/notavailable/index.php?country_code=AU], I like it how they've taken a little but of time to personalise the error pages.

I disagree. I think some of the later episodes sacrifice humour in order to score points and sadly it's usually the episodes that are making a point for the right that suffer. Not to say they can't be funny and make the point. Their take on immigration (the one where all the people come from the future) was absolutely fantastic even if I didn't agree with them on the issue but episodes like the Iraq special and the day after the day after tomorrow came off as propaganda.

I look at it this way: if they didn't swing hard enough to miss a few, they would never get a home run: the way nobody else gets any. They're not afraid to chance it. It's refreshing, I think.

I mean sure, they made Team America, but they also made Baseketball.

As one of the two people who found BASEketball funny, I have to say I like them, and people need to chill the fuck out about their comedy. It's not for kids. Deal with it.

I see you were just on 4chan. It's eating into your mind.

I love 'em. The political, satire, parody humour that this world needs to wake up from.

I don't find South Park funny at all, I honestly don't see what all the fuss is about, while it's not a bad show, it's just not that great either. I long for the days of Invader Zim and Futurama, WHY DO ALL THE GOOD SHOWS GET CANCELLED?!?!?

EDIT: Accidentally typed Fururama, can you imagine Hitler working for a delivery company in the future?

They made Cannibal the Musical one of my all time favorite films. I must be number 3 as I like Basketball as well. Also the porn film they made which was called Orgasmo I think.

South Park is also genius.
