Definitely ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. I've never played them but they look very interesting. I have little interest in sport itself, so sports games might as well not exist to me.

I have not played Shadow of the Colossus, but I watched a friend play quite a bit of it. And I must say it looked like one hell of a game. I could see myself buying the remake pretty quickly.

Pre-Ordered fifa during the summer so my vote goes there. Lot of changes this year with dynamic defending/dribbling and the player impact engine, the demo was great too.

Its a bit obvious fifa is not gonna get much love on this site, i mean its a sports game and made by EA two things escapist users hate lol.

Money I suppose. There's an argument knocking about (a totally valid one, by the way) that perhaps the team rosters and everything could be updated with seasonal DLC, but goddamn it looking after the consumer just isn't the Capitalist way! EA perhaps takes this to extremes (FIFA, Madden, NFL etc) but all companies are guilty of it to some degree.

Well, I owned Shadow and Ico for ps2, and have pre-ordered the HD remake and will be picking it up tomorrow... on the other hand I've never owned a Fifa game for as long as Fifa games existed.

You hit the nail on the head. The thing is, even though this kind of greedy, cynical bullshit is absolutely everywhere, it never gets any easier to put up with. The fact that franchises like FIFA exist STILL pisses me off.
