I'm 15, so I can't vote, but Clegg seems like the best realistic option we have going, from what little I know.
Yup, the private sector didn't cause the mess at all. Not one bit.Overlord59 said:I voted for the Tories. The Lib Dems are too naive and foolish with their policies and Labour created the mess we sit in now from the strong economy the last Tory government left us.
To be fair we've taken perfectly good fields and built circles of standing stones in them when druidic paganism was the fashionable religion. Then we decided to build temples to all sorts of gods imported from Italy and amalgamated with our own. And then we pulled those down and replaced with temples to a single deity and his executed son (who lived and died in the Middle East himself).Wedlock49 said:I'm not questioning the merits of our workforce but more the back-log of illegals we have. How? You went on a thread about UK politics to complain that there wasn't a completely superfluous poll option to state you weren't from Britain. You could've at the very least discussed UK politics if you knew any, like many discuss politics in different countries without complaining needlessly that "there isn't a useless poll option for me to click on".PurpleSky said:I still think I'm right about this though.BadAssPope said:You are aware that it's not obligatory to post a comment on EVERY thread you see, right?PurpleSky said:The_root_of_all_evil said:Nothing quite as crass as who you voted for as that would probably be illegal, but what actually did you do?
Just as a confirmation: Liberals/Labour/Tories are classed as major parties.
I had to choose at random because somebody failed to add a I'm Not British option,I hope you're happy
I would say "they" rather than "we" because our ancestors imposed our culture on someone else doesn't mean we should let the do it with us. But I agree, lets not get off topic.JemJar said:I'd like to say thank you to everyone in the UK who's gone out to vote today (or will in a bit) for playing their part in the democratic process. Even if you spoilt your vote deliberately.

To avoid going crippling off topic I'll not talk about illegal immigration here, I'm sure there are regular chats about it in Politics & Religion.
Ah well thats fair enough. As far as I can remember, the last Liberal government was before the First World War. Since its been around 100 years or so I'd agree with them being given a chance, especially with the messes the other two major parties seem to have ended up in.Daystar Clarion said:Not 'new', one of the arguments is that the libs dems are inexperienced, i.e. never governed the country. You don't need your ID, hell you don't even need your polling card. Just walk in, tell them your name and address and its all KFC gravySir-jackington said:i wanted to vote but couldn't because i got my wallet stolen last week and have no ID now
Lloyd George was the last Liberal Prime Minister, and he led us through WWI. However, he and Herbert Asquith, the previous Liberal Prime Minister, who governed until 1916 (Churchill was a Liberal too before he joined the Conservatives, if you didn't know that), managed to split the Liberal party, and it never truly recovered.I am Spy said:Ah well thats fair enough. Was a deliberate decision as it's specifically not about politics, but about voting.LordCuthberton said:Very angry at you.The_root_of_all_evil said:Nothing quite as crass as who you voted for as that would probably be illegal, but what actually did you do?
