Okay, so, i have been hearing almost non stop about how crowded the earth is getting, how arable land is being chewed up by cities. However, as is seen in cities in countries like japan and china, people really don;t need all that much space to live.
So, why not take the logical course of action and build cities that float on top of the water, or situated in shallow under water. Or, my personal favorite, underground!
If anyone else can think of a good place to put a city, so that we can free up more land for farming, please share. this is yet another example of how, if you take a dozen people, give them a case of beer and a difficult problem, they will come out with a better solution than any government plan that would cost billions just to come up with.

*sits down by Soushi and pops open a Cold One*

Well I'm thinking that the underground or mountain core options would give better access to a wider variety of food than the underwater or floating vessel options. Underwater has a draw for me, but...food is nice. Oh Hell, my boss is walking by- hold this!

*shoves Cold One in Soushi's hand and gets back to work*
