The only reason I was here on Escapist was to watch Unforgotten Realms. But now, since I've seen the final episode, I was saddened to find out that it is no longer on Escapist. I want to know how many people watched this show, and if you did, did you like it?

I liked it at first, in fact I was linked to it and said that it was in fact awesome.

Then... then it started losing its charm and humor. The man behind it was merely shoveling it out to make cash, not funnies. So, I really couldn't care less what happens to it now but I will mourn what humor I did find in it.

I really liked it, the first 20 episodes are great but they get way less funny as they go on

Yup. I remember watching the first few episode while packing, and laughing pretty hard at them. Oh well, I still have nostalgia.

Loved it, friend showed it to me and that is how I came to know of the Escapist. Sad that it is gone.

I didn't get to finish it. Sadface.
I thought you could still look up the video gallery using the search bar? Please don't tell me that disappeared too?

It started good, but turned all family guy/apocalypse lane with all of the meaningless talking... In the end, it was boring.

First season i loved (more or less). Second was meh. Third i didn't even bother to watch.

And you know why? Because Rob tried to create some convoulted plot instead of doing what he was supposed to be doing - spoofing D&D to hell and back, that is.

I liked it a lot, all the way through. Like any good comedy show, it was funny, and eventually started having a bit more of a focus on plot along with the continued humor. Red vs. Blue did the same thing, and their recent work is easily their best.

I miss Unforgotten Realms.

I didn't think you could. But I just tried and you can!

Woot. Now I'm off to watch.

I will admit that I used to love Unforgotten Realms... it was the reason I started coming to the Escapist after all... it started going downhill at some point... and I just stopped caring. Ah well, at least there's still ZP, Unskippable, and the forums.

I really enjoyed the first few episodes. To me, the videos were funny and unique. I know next to nothing about D&D but I still found it to be very amusing. But as time went by, they slowly declined in quality. They became far more random and spent big chunks of time to setup lame jokes or have pointless exposition. After watching a few episodes of the second season, I just got sick of it. I don't know what the hell happened by the quality of the script really plummeted.

Though I do remember Rob vehemently attacking many people who criticized the show's deteriorating quality. That really discouraged me from looking into the series any further, as someone who objects to constructive criticism so often could not possibly be improving their work.

once season 3 hit it went way down hill in terms of story and in general making sense
it was disjointed

I thought the first season was hilarious, the second wasn't very funny, although it had it moments, and the third was better than the second but still nowhere near as good as the first. That said, I still look forward to forward to the continuation of season 3 and season 4.

By the way for those interested, you can find all of the old episodes, new comics, and where to buy the season 1 DVD here: http://www.urealms.com/index2.html

Phew... I wasn't sure there for a sec. I'm glad that I can still go back and see those. Still ever so funny. I'm going to go watch an episode for old times' sake now.
