i was at the bookstore recently when i saw a book called Unicorns VS Zombies, as i was reading it two people walked up to me and saw the book and discussion began as to who would win. we all admitted we know nothing about Unicorns so we couldn't come to the proper conclusion. I was wondering if my fellow Escapists could help?

Unicorns. If they can take out an Ursa Minor, they can take out a couple of zombies for sure.

Yes, but zombie-unicorns! What happens when one of their own is lost to the dark side (also known as the necrotic side, the rotting-shelf, or the "In the red corner!")

What about goblins, where the fuck are all the goblins.

Cookies for reference.

Out of the two, zombies.

I seriously doubt they can use their unicorn magic as zombies, it takes skill and practice, it would be like a zombie cop shooting his gun.

(Someone please explain why I am being given greek letters in my capcha)

Unicorns. Obviously.

See this is the one thing I'm surprised no one ever noticed. Horses are fucking crazy. Like, those guys are a heartbeat and a half away from a psychotic breakdown at all times.

Now, with humans, it's generally accepted that giving a crazy person something dangerous is a bad idea. So why should it be any different with unicorns? You've just given a being whose ground state is being completely nucking futs a two-foot, razor-sharp spear. That can't POSSIBLY end badly.

So I reiterate. Unicorns win, because as far as the unicorn knows, a zombie is just a human it's already run over.

Unicorns of course. I mean, sure the zombies have the advantage with their viral infection spreading with the outbreak- but unicorns can pretty much hammer down on the zombies with just their feet alone. (Imagine that powerful impact, them kicking their heads- ouch.) Now, imagine if the unicorns could fly.. or had magic, or both. Now, we'd know who'd win hands down.
But that would make them pegasi as well.

Unicorns, head down and gallop.

Depends, Unicorns are carnivorous by nature and devour humans. They go into a bloodcurdling rampage at the mere sight of a human, their horrid neighs cannot be described or replicated and they have a tendency of shooting lightning out of their horns to "stun" their prey. I believe they intend to stun them, could be they prefer the smell.

All I know is, the zombies are screwed. Infection or not, Unicorns are mythical creatures of legend and magic. Which I'm pretty sure makes them immune. Pretty sure... hmm, I certainly don't want to find out. That's a perfected killing machine if they do get infected.

Zombies. Remember, it only takes one bite. A horn through the gut is only going to ensure that the zombie is within bitey-range, and once bitten the unicorn is no longer a unicorn, it's a zombie.

Then we're all doomed.

It's a good book. But it's really just stories about Unicorns or Zombies. The two do not meet except in like one story. Still it's an okay read, lots of different stories.

yea but after being ran over the zombie is still alive and the unicorn will be easily biten by the srounding zombies and so he dies and becomes a zombie himself...

Unicorns are just horses with a phallic head accessory. But that does not make them bad.
Horses are like these giant, snorting, muscular beasts with huge faces and a propensity to flip out. And we fucking ride them. That is ridiculous.

A horde of horses would decimate a bunch of shambling zombies, okay. They'd get bitten and turn more horse-y. And then everyone is fucked.

Anyone who is not stupid would rather face down a charging mob of zombies than horses. What the fuck are you going to do with that bat when a horse kicks you in your fucking face that's right nothing.

Sorry, couldn't resist...

OT: I never had the notion that zombies could defeat, well, anything... Being shambling and brainless kinda limits you. Hell, they would be easy targets for cats and dogs.

Horses are generally too dumb to understand what a Zombie is, or what it does. Naturally, if one ever got bitten, it wouldn't know that it's supposed to become a zombie.......... so........ it won't. Hence, Unicorns win!

I am indeed aware of the fact that that is the most retarded logic you have ever heard.

Unicorns are experts at hiding and running away which is the best way to beat the slow lumbering attacks of zombies which rely on cornering their victims and attacking with numbers. The Unicorn's horn also renders them invulnerable to all illnesses which means that they can safely fight zombies without becoming infected.

Unicorns are like the ultimate anti-zombie weapon.
