Poll: Vehicles in Batman AA2?

I just beat Batman AA (yes I know it took me long enough) and I was looking up AA2, and I began to wonder how vehicles would effect the sequel of such an amazing game.

In my opinion I don't think I'd like it, it would become tedious and take away from the whole sick karate, ninja stealth thing that made the first one so great.

So what do you guys think? Do you wanna use the Batmobile and the Batwing in AA2?

EDIT: People keep getting caught up on the whole "sections" thing. That is my fault, I just phrased my question wrong. I just want to know if you would like vehicles to be usable in Batman AA2. I don't want to change the mechanics from open world to sectional...

I don't think there should be any. Vehicle sections are often the weakest part of a game, and Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 does not need them

Hell to the No!

Arkham Asylum is an open world game, not a scripted sectional beat-em-up.

See them? Sure. In the same way we saw them in the first. Background colour/Plot Coupon. Trying to add some kind of GTA aspect or, Crom forbid, some kind of racing/chase segments would muck up the gameplay too much.
Actually, I'm not sure how taking it out into Gotham proper won't change things so drastically as to change the genre.

I may have phrased my OP wrong, I didn't mean changing the open world style of the game I just meant would you like to have the ability to use vehicles in the sequel?

I'm open to the idea of them. They did pretty much everything else right in the first one so I am willing to trust them to do vehicles right too. Are vehicles a definite thing cause? Like this isn't a screenshot of Batman standing near the Batmobile and people are just making shit up? I really just try to avoid game news for the most part

Oh, well in that case.....
Maybe.

If they implement it right.

I dont really mind if there are vehicles are not. The gfirst was more or less fine without them.

I'm not sure a second trip to the Asylum is the best choice in the first place, even if it is Batman.

Well vehicle sections...no...being able to drive the Batmobile to get from place to place, or use gadgets...why not

If they do make the batmobile drivable...i want to be able to do that cool armor lock thing the car does when its parked (Shown in some of the Tim Burton Batman Movies)...or it could have grappling hooks on the end so it can turn at highspeeds (though that is extremely unrealistic)

EDIT: Batwing...is a total no though, i dont want to fly in the game, it would lose all the fun of getting from one place to the other
I didn't mean sections in the way you are thinking I just meant if vehicles should be usable.

I should go edit my OP XD

Vehicle Sections are ALWAYS a bad idea, no matter what sort of game is being played, even racing games.

I think that a vehicle section locked into the plot could work rather well... but only if they keep it firmly under control.

I don't think there'll be much scope for them though... Considering how the Asylum has been moved to mainland Gotham, and a pretty old and shitty part with narrow streets too, I might add...
I don't know their storyline, so I'm not sure where they could fit them in.
I'm half afraid Rocksteady will see this thread and start dicking around with vehicle engines now :-/

Please don't bother!! It it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? Maybe getting to pilot the Batwing would be cool... but only if they did for a very small section, like in Assassin's Creed 2.
You only get one shot at using Da Vinci's flying machine after all.

On balance, though I think that it's rather unnecessary and would probably not work very well at all.

All I'm hoping for is better Boss battles....
Maybe there should be a thread on that?
