I think you have the yes and no's mixed up in the poll, but good thing for the explanations next to them. I think violence is sometimes an answer, for example you might have to use violent force to stop one person from killing another. I imagine the police have to battle with this question a lot.

I think there are some instances where you are in your right to bash someones head in. I've experienced a few of them myself... But generally yes. Violence is not the answer.
