Okay i know a mod or two will be tempted to lock this on title alone, but bare with me a second.

I was reading one of CAD's 'sillies' and it got me thinking.
Do you think that many xbox360 players pride themselves on their gamerscores so severely as it can be seen as a form of virtual manhood, something that proves if you're superior or not to other players you meet and interact with?

Feel free to tell me if i'm wrong about this, its just an idea after all.

I do know that a lot of people pride themselves on having a high gamerscore/trophies, but I don't think that has to do with who is a manlier man or not.

The boast of badassery in the internets ought to take real life man-points itself.

Yes, of course. It's the little bastard kids that shout about it on ANY game with achievements.

I also just figured it was a way to tell how big of an achievement whore the player is.
my gamerscore doesn't make me a bad person! I swear!
Meh, I've seen people with 150K + gamerscores. but they just go and buy ever language version of King Kong the game. easy 1000G every time. now those are achievement whores.

Not once did I mention that being an achievement whore is bad.

I usually judge people I see in online shooters by their gamerscore. If it's less than 1000, it usually means they are jackasses who only play said shooter.

I'm sure some do. Just like others do it with post count or time on a site or friend count whatever

Did anyone else think that this was about whether or not cybersex could count as losing your virginity?

No?

I think I need to get some sleep.
