Poll: Wait or play

Me and my friends have been enjoying the section 8 demo on the xbox 360 and when i asked them if they were going to buy it they said they were getting Cod6:MW2 first but i really like section 8 and it's so close to comming out and i'm getting bored of Tf2 and cod4:MW and i don't think i can wait till november(or when ever it comes out i forget).So should i wait till Cod6:MW2 comes out and have fun with my friends or get section 8 and have fun with myself(ewww)?

It's your decision. Since it's an online game, you can always play online without your friends, and in my opinion, even though I'm getting Modern Warfare 2, it looks like Call of Duty 4 with slightly better graphics and a few new perks.

OT: I wasn't impressed by Section 8. It truly is just another Halo 3. It takes so much to kill someone that it is insane. Also, the useless walkers are one of the worst vehicles I've ever seen in a game.

I like it also, although I don't like the fact that I'm paying $60 for a few new features. And the fact that it takes longer to kill is what separates Section 8 from other FPS's. It is nothing like Halo. People think that because you're a space marine. It's a lot more like a futuristic Battlefield.

COD:MW2 seems to be the better investment. I know it already will be worth the purchase since it's from the same guys who made COD4, one of the best games I have ever played. Section 8 seems like a halo copy and just like in halo, it takes an hour to kill anyone.

OT: Section eight looks good, but it's always better to play with friends. I regret sometimes not getting Halo 3 for a long time, as by the time I caught up, most of my friends where getting bored of it. Thankfully I got Cod and it was amazing fun. But the best part was knowing I was playing with friends, not random people whom I couldn'd trust

I would like to point out to the OP that the title is just Modern Warfare 2.

And I say go w/ MW2. It looks like it'll be the game of '09, and it's teh sequel to the best FPS of all time, so it's a good bet to go w/ that.

Section 8 doesn't look like it has enough to interest me.
I'll certainly be getting Modern Warfare 2, and if I look deep enough into S8 to warrant me to grow attached to it, then I may buy that as well.

Yes, technically.

But they added Call of Duty to the box-art because they discovered that around 50% of players didn't recognize the game without the CoD title.

And they're gonna need all the fans they can get with the price hike and everything...

They can still buy the regular ed. for the same price as most every other game is being sold for now.

And if the people are too stupid to link Modern Warfare 2 to Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare, then they probably don't deserve to play the game anyway. (or even posses the smarts to play it either.)
