I don't think anything can ever completely kill WoW; it'll always have some hardcore fanbase.
That being said, if I ever pick up dark millenium I'll be playing an angry marine

WoW is an officious little bugger, and I don't even think the warhammer 40k game would dislodge it

It does look really, really cool. WoW killer I doubt it but I will keep a eye on this ones development, the vehicles look really cool though.

It is not going to kill WoW.
If anything will draw people away from WoW, it will probably be Diablo 3. I base this on what I have heard from most of my gaming friends and/or other WoW players that I know.
I personally am very excited for Diablo 3, mostly because any form of "scheduled gaming" is something I refuse to participate in. I want a game that I can play when I want, and *only* when I want.
By "scheduled gaming" I mean in-game events which are "optional" but end up becoming mandatory if you want to progress your character (getting loot, gaining achievements, progression through a dungeon, whatever)
As far as this Dawn of War MMO, I will indeed check it out. Truthfully, though, all I care about is Diablo 3.

There is no such thing as a WoW-killer. I assumed we had put this argument to rest in one of the other 50 million threads claiming "X Shitty Upcoming MMO" would kill WoW.
NO game can kill WoW except WoW itself. People play whatever MMO their friends play, and everyone right now plays WoW. That won't change any time soon.

Planetside is an MMO based on FPS mechanics that did rather well for a few years, just as another example. Just because the FPS mechanics were horrible in Star Wars Galaxies does not mean they can't work in an MMO.Gottesstrafe said:

No. It'll go the way of all the other contenders, because it won't do anything that WoW doesn't do already, and it will almost certainly do a hell of a lot less.
And the excuse will be "well WoW only did X when it launched", but you're not competing against WoW when it launched, you're competing against it now.
Until WoW starts running out of steam on it's own, none of the pretenders to it's throne are going to get a sniff of the same success.
