Poll: Wasteland Olympics!

now before you all get mad, i don´t want to compare, i just asking what game fits your term of "wasteland" in a better way and what take on a fucked up place you like more. you can also name other games that do that well in your opinion. as for rage, i really liked the footage you see in the internet, it looks really cool, but also really close to borderlands in style. what do you think of it?

me too. though hate is too bad of a word. dislike and disappointment. i love the old fallout games.

Definitely Fallout - the original, definitive wasteland. It's blend of apocalyptic sci-fi and 1950's Americana remains unparalleled. Borderlands looks fun, but it pales in comparison thematically and setting-wise.

We'll have to see about Rage when it comes out. Initially, it looked like a ripoff of Fallout. But after learning more about it, it just may be different enough to be good.
