Poll: Watchmen: Love it or hate it?

right, i still need to watch the film, so please, no spoilers on this page... seriously, i don't like them at all.

i've been looking into this film, and one thing i've noticed is that people seem to either LOVE IT or HATE IT; nothing inbetween... metacritic also sort of displayed this, with some reviews giving it 100%, while others gave it 20% but very little inbetween... another comment i've heard a lot is "you should read the graphic novel first".

so, what does everyone else here think?

I really enjoyed the film. An accurate depiction of the comic and a very entertaining watch. It really would help you understand the characters and story better if you read the comic though.

You really should read the novel first. It was very good IMO. The movie was also awesome, but they did change things around so they can fit it even if its a 3 hour movie. But read the book first, then go watch it.
