Some of us are, and some of the things we do might be related to monstrous things e.g using electricity that comes from a power station that pumps poisonous gases into the atmosphere.

For instance if the poster 5 posts below me was a farmer who grows local crops organically who overall had basically no effect on the ecosystem while still able to maintain a living, nature wouldn't have a problem. However if the poster 15 posts below me was a farmer who grows crops that devestate the soil content and pH, as well as using excessive pesticides that pollute rivers for the sake of earning more money and then wasting that money on uneeded luxuries that they get rid fo the next day, then nature would find us monster like.

Overall be a kind person or else you'll end up like HIM! [http://static.open.salon.com/files/cookie-monster3-7769871237963363.jpg] And we wouldn't want that now would we?

Well you don't get this far up in the anima kingdom without kicking shit out of the animal kingdom and giving a few cheap punches to everything around it. We were once scared of the world now the world is scared of us mwuahahaha.

Compared to what? You can't ask if humans are monsters when we have nothing to compare ourselves to.

If you think you're a monster then you've lead a very sheltered life.
Yes, especially if it takes a science fiction film to make him realise there's corruption in the world.

To smaller creatures we are. but to creatures our size and bigger, we are small pussy animals, who happened to find the tree of exploding branchs.

since we use up all of earth,s resources without thinking of tomorrow.

yes the human race is a monster that will most likely end up destroying the planet.
but with are ever -growing intelligence we also have a chance of saving it, bit of a late call.

so yes we are monsters in destroying the planet but we also have massive potential in rebuilding it.

Most people aren't monsters. Unfortunately, humans have a habit of being sheep led by monsters. Bad people, whether they are corrupt, monstrous, or just plain overambitious (beyond their competence level) have a nasty habit of getting into positions of great power, in my experience.

Depends on your perspective, if you're a businessman you are not a monster, you are trying to make ends meet, mainly because all this stuff you hear humans doing is from TV and how much of the stuff on TV is bullshits any ways, but if you actually see the dammages done you can think that the activities of humankind is monstrous, but in the end I don't think any ONE human is a monster, it's kind of like a collabrative effort.

A example of which would be 1 man makes the bullets, another man makes the pistol, another man loads the bullet another man shoots the earth, we only pay attention to the man who fired the gun, not the other men who contributed to it, example of which would be the customers going "Oh golly that man is evil" while acting all innocent while it was there demands that he/she fires the gun.

And that's my opinion as scrambled my ideas are, I hope you found the point some where.

Perhaps... in that we sometimes show cruelty to our fellow man and the natural world. But, we also have the unique ability to create things, and bend nature to our will. In that sense, are we not more like gods? Capricious, ill-tempered, and occasionally malevolent gods, true, but gods nevertheless.

There's always someone worse out there is the view I take, whatever I do I'll never be as bad a person as say Ian Brady, well unless I did go out and rape/kill kids but even then I wouldn't be as bad as say an African warlord, unless I gained fascistic control of a small country and enslaved and killed thousands but even then I wouldn't be as bad as Hitler, unless I then gained control of an industrial country and ripped the world apart in bloody war, but even then I wouldn't be as bad as God, well unless I committed mass genocide of the human race but even the....

Well you can see were I'm going.
