Perfectly fine druge, if you look at it's effects and addiction qualities, it is a lower ranking drug than alcohol. All prohibition ever did was funnel money into gangs and funded worse drug development like meth,heroine and crack.

Look at Amsterdam regulated and controlled, no problem.

drugs arent my thing but i wont stop another human being from doing it because they make their own choices. for weed its not as bad for you as alcohol or tobbacco. it should be legal but treat it like drinking. only in certain places like your home or a den or something you are high outside you get arrested. seems like a straight answer

I don't think it's good or bad. It just is. Some people enjoy it, good for them. It holds no interest for me. It obviously shouldn't be illegal that's just laughable, but personally it pisses me off when pro-cannabis people evangelise at me for not bothering with it (some friends of mine used to do this at me incessantly). I don't want to try it. I don't care that it's not harmful, I don't care about any of that shit. I'm already on your side, plz to be pissing off and bother someone else! Legalizing pot is bad for growers. Trust me its not good.

Frankly, this argument against legalization pisses me off. The currently-licensed growers have a stranglehold on the market, and are basically saying "hey, fuck the rest of you, we've got ours". To claim that corporations are going to somehow ruin the cannabis industry is an agonizingly ironic outcry of "we don't want competition because they're greedy".

You are familiar with microbreweries, yes? Despite the fact that Annheiser-Busch and other enormous beer manufacturers are popular national brands, they do extremely well with local business, because they tend to be of higher quality. The local growers and distributors that you're worried about would fill a similar niche. The fact that they would impede the progress of a nation in regards to drug policy in the name of a profits show that they're every bit as soulless as the corporations they're saying will ruin cannabis.

My view on drugs and everything. Alcohol, Weed, all of it.

Everything in moderation. You don't go out getting blind drunk everyday. You dont go getting high everyday. Other than that There is no problem with it. If you learn to smoke it in moderation, it is one of the best stress relievers there is.

Weed is fun but I'm not going to be a liberal hippie ****** about it. To the people saying "I don't need it to have a good time" fair enough, I'll just have a better time than you .

I used to smoke up every day but for a good ten (1.5ish grams) you only get like 3 spliffs nowadays. Bad deals in Bristol at the moment . It's too expencive for someone who is in full time education and learning to drive.

OP: I personally believe so, yes. Others smarter than I will no doubt cover the medical reasons (Not without risks of course), but I think that the benefits outweigh the detriments. The benefits being: a much better appreciation of taking ones time, a generally more relaxed and, dare I say, realistic outlook on life, and a much lowered stress level overall. As someone who used to tear their hair out with worry (Really), it's nice to have a lot less things to worry about.

I believe it should be legalized on principle. Then again, I'm all liberal like that. Really, people are going to get it either way, and I know I have no reason to stop enjoying it. My ambition's still there, and I do well academically, and I smoke a lot, so it's no worry for me. Maybe one day I'll give it up, but at the moment, it's doing me fine.

Makes me get paranoid and get panic attacks, not to mention flashbacks to that time when I was 20 and had a 16 hour bad trip on something a little harder.

First you can not overdose on weed. Smoking weed alone has never killed anyone. Second you can not get physically addicted to it.

Weed is a drug no matter how you phrased it or say it natural etc. it is a drug but so is alcohol. Im not saying that it is healthy smoke it but it is not as bad as you think. The problems that weed has is a few things but I personally find that it is less bad then alcohol.

Here are the things that are bad with weed and after ill talk about the good things about weed.

Its bad because your smoking it. Nothing that you smoke is good for your lungs.

Some people get paranoid when smoking weed.

Most parents are not comfortable that their kids smoke weed so it might cause some issues.

It is illegal unless for medical use.

Some articles say that pot has a realtion with schizophrenia, a mental illness, It has not been proven but think about it. before you go on hating it affects a very little percentage of people. So the great majority smoke weed and have no problems with this. So now your thinking well ill never smoke it so i wont get retarded. I promote smoking weed to everyone except for those people who feel uncomfortable and have a sort of 'bad trip' when high. If you do Do NOt smoke. For people that have mental illnesses in their family Do NOT smoke. Beside this Roll your spliff and get high.

What is good about Smoking is alot of things.

As many people think but weed does not make you stupid, it does not kill your brain cells like alcohol.

You will have more chance getting addicted to coffee than weed. Though you can get Phycologicly addicted to like some people are video games and stuff like that so do not abuse.

You can not overdose on it.

There is no hangovers.

Its natural.

It is not that expensive.

There are many ways to enjoy it.

It does not last for 6 or 8 hours so it doesnt use up all your day.

No problem falling asleep.

Its relatively cheap.

You can grow it yourself.

It makes food better.

Sex is better.

Music is better.

Everything is better!

Being high is just great!


There are probally alot of other pros but cant think of anymorre right now.

Weed is great but do not abuse it. Don't make it so that it stops you from doing things. Like me I love smoking weed but ill be joining the army and there will be a drug test. So I stop smoking weed and when i pass I my drug test Ill be back being high. I had no problem stoping and i have not craving to start again. Though sometimes i miss it. Haha.

Look this what i know and don't take for facts this is my opinion and stuff that looked on the internet. I think you should try it. If it is not your thing dont do it but if you want to but arent sure just do some research.

My main reasons for not doing marijuana: (Some or all of these are also my reasons for not smoking or drinking)
- Whatever anybody else tells you, it's addictive.
- I don't feel the need to prove what a cool dude I am.
- If I wanted to lose brain cells I'd just slam my head against a wall.

- Waste of money.

Re: Last point-
Saying you want to do something just because everybody you know does it is the worst reason to do anything, ever. Real friends shouldn't expect you to change what you like to do or pick up dangerous hobbies just for their sake. I don't drink, smoke or do drugs, though the vast majority of the people I know do, and they are all fine with my choice.

Incidentally the fact that they respect my choices is why I don't preach what I just said now to my friends. Yes they are friends and I'd rather they stayed in good health, but they've heard it all from DARE and I doubt my two cents would have any effect other than damaging our friendship.

I've never tried it, and I can tell you that (based off experience), it doesn't make you stupider, but it can make you much more of an insensitive asshole.
