I was just wondering, since I occuasionally see posters talking about being in whatever is happening in the middle east (There are so many wars over there it's almost like a party for wars.)

I haven't been in one, or else I would have been insane for a long time. What can I say, I love games, pizza and a warm place, and would probably go insane with no games, no pizza and a cold place.

I have.

It was called... the console wars.

It was horrible...

Luckily I got pulled out from the war when I stopped being immature.

Possibly in another life - I've certainly hallucinated it. And the drums, the incessant beating of the drums, it never stops. Can't you hear it?

Rock war at my old apartments once. It was fun until we hit someone in the head and they started to bleed.

Well I remember back in my days of the scouts one day we decided to hold something called an object war (It didn't have a name really, we just had the idea one day) down in the basement of our hall. let's just say two groups, one on either side behind some adequate (And VERY much needed) cover, a big pile of stuff for each team. Throw or be thrown at. It was fairly intense and there were alot of injuries. *Sigh* Scouts used to be cool, then it became shit and I left.

a real war? nope, and I likely never will be, I'm not qualified for the army for many many reasons. a metaphorical war? yes plenty, some were fun and some were a pain.

Negative, and I have a few tricks up my sleeve to keep me out of the draft...
But I'd likely join in the next year...

I was indeed. My experience was life changing but I would not call it horrific. My actions do not weigh heavily upon me and I never recieved significant injury in the line of duty. There are scars to be sure, but not the sort you build a life around.

Where do you live? "Sissiopia?"

No but in all seriousness, I have never been to war and my country, much like Kaleion's does not engage in wars frequently.

Kinda. I have been to "war zones" but I myself was not armed and nobody tried to kill me.

Yes. I Invade France quite Frequently
That's not a war. I bet there was no fighting, just a load of broken white flags.
Somebody had to say it >.<

OT: Not fought in one. I stop them quite frequently though.

A large majority of us wouldn't even be able to go to War and an even larger majority proably won't for personal reasons. I'm only 16, so I can't really sign up and I proably won't.

It was the First Console war. I was in a squad of 20. 15 made it back with 3 lives left and the other 5 went to join the enemy sony after grueling torture. It was the worse kind of war: One that you keep fighting even though their is no point. The N64 was better and the Sony army knew it but they never surrendered. Not even after Ocarina of Time came out. Why didn't they stop? That still haunts me to this day.
