Poll: Werewolf or Vampire?

I started thinking about werewolves and vampires and was thinking about which I would rather be. I chose werewolf because the are awesome and you might be able to scrape away a somewhat normal life. Plus I am a FUCKING wolf. I get to rip things apart with my bare hands, and no not the pussy twilight kind of either. I am talking one from horror movies not elder scrolls or twilight.

However being a Lycanthrope would be awesome. I would SO love to be a lycanthrope. The only problem is that people nowadays seem to have no idea of the difference between werewolves and lycanthropes.

What? Are you saying you don't have complete control over yourself because you need to eat? Everyone needs sustenance, it just so happens that what i need is blood. I would assume it wouldn't be strictly human blood since that would be a ridiculously flawed evolutionary trait, so i'll just go find some blood when i'm hungry.

Probably Vampire. It's really easy to avoid the sunlight, Remove windows and keep track of sunrise/set everyday- not hard considering it's on the news every night. Furthermore, there is no loss of control, which is the really big thing about werewolves that bugs me. The only problem would be the lack of good television at night.

The problemn with the original vampire is that they are evil. Theres no grey area for them, they are monsters raised by the power of satan! You could be the nicest guy in life but as a vampire you will rape and murder.

I don't think the supernatural is going to depend on what is or is not a good evolutionary trait. I mean by that logic vampires should be cool with the sunlight and not give a damn about religion...

I was on the lycan side btw. I would assume that i could eat what normal wolves would. Even if I did need to eat humans, i could strike up a deal with state morgues or work in a cemetery or something.

Actually, one of those sounds a lot more interesting than either.

But, depends on what mythology you are going with. Just having the magical power to tiurn into a giant mutant wolf, but absolutely not having to do so unless you choose doesn't seem to have any downsides.

Likewise, being a vampire sounds awesome, except for the being undead and having to drink blood stuff.

Yeah but the wrewolfs problems are more easily solved. Get a lunar calendar and lock yourself away every night the change takes you. Get a loyal friend to let yourself out the next day.

As a vampire you wouldn't want to restrain yourself. You would be a servant of the devil and eager to inflict as much pain and misery as you could.
