I saw my dog outside on the front lawn getting boned by the neighbor's dog. My parents then had to explain what they were doing. I was nine at the time. They were the kind of parents who tried to keep me away from this sort of thing. It came to me as quite a shock.

I was never given "The talk" but I did watch a sex ed video in 3rd grade, didn't teach us that much. Honestly I'd say the internet taught me most of what I know.

I'd have to say I started being aware of the concept at around 7 or 8, but only learned about the "finer details" when I turned 12.

Heard the idea at like.. 5 or 6. But I didn't /get/ it until sex ed in gr 4.. so really like 7 or 8.

Pretty late, I think. I'd say the first time I learned about sex was around 10 or 11, when I filled out a form for permanent residence status.

It's where you indicate whether you're male or female. I was confused, too. It has the same number of letters as "age", but it starts with "s", not "a".

About 11, I was watching a movie and couldn't sleep so I kept staying up, and at about 2AM some porn came on. Which was odd considering we had basic cable.

Well, I can remember a teacher of mine yelling at us in year 3 for calling it sex rather than it's proper name so I'm guessing some time that year when I was 8 but I didn't learn how it worked until I was about 11.

I learned about it when I was like 16 but the funny thing is that it's everybody talked about in school and I never knew what they were talking about you have no idea how many times I said OH, so that's what THAT meant! after finding out about sex, yet still did not talk that much about it afterwards and to this date it takes me a while to process a dirty joke.

I don't really remember learning it, I just kinda KNEW by the time Sex Ed rolled around (heh) I'm PRETTY sure it was from my mom though....
