Poll: What Character Class Are You?

In almost every RPG I've ever played I play an assassin character (Not a thief, mind you, for I rarely steal. Murder for hire is fine though.

Yeah I'd have to say a wizard-like character. I like ranged combat and using AoEs and DoTs and the like. Being a controller can be so much fun whether its nuking the enemies to ashes or fucking them up with spells. Who needs brawn when you can just use spells (or in the case of my Psion, MY MIND!)?
Although I can take on different classes if need be. I've always had a soft spot for rogues, the sneaky bastards they are, and I can also enjoy playing a support type class (whether I heal or just buff, I don't care).

Whenever I play an RPG with classes, I usually go with Rouge, or it's equivalent. Fighter is too boring, Mage is too complex.
Fighter. I will run up to any enemy that gets into my party's way with a loud roar and proceed to shove my sword/axe/hammer/shotgun down its throat and then precede to slice/slice/smash/blast out their internal organs.
I am usually something tanky. I don't want to say "Fighter", even if I'll pick that on the poll, because it doesn't fit me as a whole. I'll play pretty much any role so long as my HP is high and I can take a few hits.
I will say, however, that I tend to avoid magic/psionics/any other powers in favour of good old martial ability. With 4th Ed I'm always something Martial related, Warlord being on of my current favorites. I just like being on the front lines, soaking up damage and either helping/saving/healing my team up.

I have no idea what they are. All I want is to have a ton of heavy armour and a massive chunk of metal strapped to my arm.delanofilms said:
I'm more of a mage. In all the role-playing games I've played, I've been a sorcerer (D&D) or a Psyker(Dark Heresy). I soon plan on being a Combat oreiented mage(Shadowrun).
I just love the idea of needing only yourself to kill enemies by making them explode in fire. You also need to creatively utilize all your spells to be most effective.
