Engineer, primarily. I freakin' love that guy.

As a secondary, I play Demo, or Medic if I'm looking to relax. :p

I try to stay with what my team needs, although I tend to shy away from spy because I'm too impatient to be really stealthy. That and I'm just bad at spy...

If I'm with a good team I prefer Medic. But when no one seems to do their job I change to Demo.

Mostly Sniper.
With a bow, SMG and Kukri.

I stand riight behind the front line, picking out medics and heavies with the bow, If they get too close, I smack em with the kukri, and finish em with the SMG.

But that's only recently. Before that I just camped with the rifle... I was rather good at that.

I switch it up depending on team needs and the game. I play engineer, medic, and heavy the most. Yet if spies are all over the place, I switch up to Pyro and spy check (it only takes one good Pyro to pretty much neutralize spies...and yes, before you respond, I am sure you are the greatest spy ever and Pyros don't effect you). If there are engineer sentries tearing up the team I will go to soldier or demoman (although sometimes I just go medic and make sure I get an uber charge). Occasionally I go Scout for capturing flags or points. I pretty much never play Sniper or Spy. There are always too many. People that play those classes tend to never switch up based on team need.

I try and diversify, try to play according to what the team needs.

But when all else fails, sometimes you gotta pick up the slack, get your game face on and

Pyro's the only class I've broken 24 hours in (not including 360, and I've had the game on pc for a few years) and I'd probably say I'm best with him (alright alright, how about for the sake of this pointless argument we'll just say that the pyro is a genderless robot fuelled by napalm and programmed for destruction).

Almost all of my time is spent playing Medic. There is something fun about playing support classes. I find myself oddly attached to the people I protect the most.

I played Sniper for about 137 hours. My second most played class, Engineer, clocks in around 14-ish hours. Yeeeeaaaaah...

But most of that time played was before my TF2 break of about half a year. I've only been playing for a few months again now, and I'm sadly not even nearly as good with Sniping as I used to be. So nowadays I've branched out a lot more; I make a decent Scout on some maps, an overal reasonable Soldier and not a halfway bad Heavy.

That's so much more fun with the rifle. What I wouldn't give to see the face of the demoknight I headshotted a couple of times when I popped his head when he could almost touch me. Arrow spam, pfff!

Engineer, because I can be a all round engie, doing things that comforts my team without breaking my own fun times to be a solider to kill off others. Also, love how everyone's more liked class is pyro, its funny to me because Pyro and Engie are both classes that go togheter well.

Now my rant on why Free 2 Players need to learn all 9 CLASSES instead of being exclusives, lately, solider, spy, and pyro are being used by people who DO NOT know how to use each class even slightly to how their supposed to balance. I'll start with pyro and spy to begin, each are specialists at countering both solider, and the engineer, but pyro burns the spy like a roman candle, and it seems like no one spy checks the more obvious spies. This impacts the danger of spies taking points and killing off about to uber medics and heavies, along with defense Engies. Why Pyros need to focus more on Spy checking and ambushing is because I see WAY to many spies walk RIGHT ON PAST Pyros who would rather try to KAMIKAZE 5 soliders and 3 heavies instead of killing off the 3 spies he just witnessed kill his team. For Spies, learn to be sneaky and kill off key targets, act as someone crippling the enemy team. For Soliders, your not gods, learn how to bounce targets and how to dispatch each class, allowing for your team to take key points, try your best to kill off damage heavy classes, other soliders, demos and heavies are all targets that focus on damage, try to kill THEM and you will conquer the team by acting as a cripple in their plans. Go to wiki to learn more.

Where's the option for all of the classes?

The only classes I play more frequently than the others is Spy at #1 and Sniper at #2, then the rest are more or less even in terms of played time, each of them with way more hours than I probably should have played them....

I'm probably best at playing Medic, but I do like playing all of the classes. It all depends on the match really.

Medic is admittedly my favorite though. I like to think that I'm helping people (and by extension, my team) in a concrete way.

Spy, Sniper, or Medic (In no particular order). I prefer supporting my team win over winning myself - it's more satisfying

If the team has no Medics, I'll be the Medic. The team never has any Medics.
If they were to have Medics I usually pick Scout or Demoman, but lately I've been playing as a Sniper a lot.

I'm one of the hated F2P noobs, so I was a little late to the party. So far however I have had mainly good experiences. I usually jump into a match as a Soldier and once I get killed (usually about 15 seconds later) I check the team roster and try to pick a class that we're either missing or light on. I seem to be spending a fair bit of time as a Medic while I'm teaching one of my older colleagues how to play FPS.
