USB drive, memory stick, flash drive, whatever.

On a related note my external hard drive is called "The Library". It holds many things.

Oh, sometimes call USBs pen drives. Don't even know where I got that one from, since everyone looks at me weird.
No, that's what I call them too. It's fairly common in Sheffield, at least in my course.
I'm not in the UK.

Like many other people in this thread, I call mine a jump drive. I'm surprised that, along with pen drive, wasn't an option -- they're both pretty common depending on where you live.

I usually call mine "lost," but I call other ones thumb drives or memory sticks. On the Internet I just use USB.

Thing is, at our school, if you're carrying around a portable harddrive, you're not a nerd. It implies that you're too cool for school, and therefore have to download your games onto a harddrive to play them at school.
I have a 160g harddrive which I constantly use at school to play Starcraft, Simcity, and other low-tech games (because of the fossils we have in our "computer lab").
Although I'm not one of those people who don't manage their grades and social life... They're the real nerds.

Oh, so you're not, my mistake! Well in that case it probably varies by region but 'pendrive' is fairly usual in the UK.
I may have picked it up from "foreign" media at some point, so you may still not be wrong. It's just taht in the US, I don't see it called a "pen drive" often.

Mine are all named and like my HDs named after mythical creatures.

Except the one with all my drivers n' crap on it which is called RESSURECTOR because a) I couldn't be bothered to look up how to spell it and b) I didn't have a computer to spell check on when I was assembling the stuff for it.
