Poll: What do you think gives the escapist so much traffic?

Escapist's a great site and i love going on to it but it got me thinking today, What gives it the most traffic? I know i wouldnt be here if it wasnt for a post on answer.yahoo.com, A guy asked if prince of persia was a good game and another guy responded with ZP i watched it and i loved it, I also like Unforggen realms alot and forum posting.

So what do you think gives the escapist its traffic, and (Dont poll this type it in comment)which one would you miss the most if it was gone?

Question #2: I wouldn't miss it, I'd find something else to entertain me for 6 minutes every wednesday.

IIRC the Escapist was still going strong before Yahtzee's advent, but ZP really breathed new life into this forum. Lots of people joined, dozens of threads were created, and the Escapist practically tripled in popularity.

Please stop posting new threads! This is like the 8th or 9th new thread I've seen you post in less than a week, just stop trolling, will you?

For the sake of being on topic, a lot of people come here originally for ZP and the other videos, and then stay for the forums. That's pretty much it.

ZP has to be the major contributor. Also once someone has seen ZP they can be compelled to comment to say how good it was, the person has to register, sees how good the forums are and so on, etc...

Sorry, how am I an ass? I have no problem with the guy, but he's posted almost ten different threads in less than a week, including about four of those on the same night. When you've been here as long as I have you'll understand that's generally a no-no here. I'm happy for the guy to post, but I don't like seeing him post new threads every single day. It's called forum spamming, and it's uncalled for. Otherwise he can do what he likes (within reason...).

A combo of video series, interesting articles and cool members is what gets most people i'd say.

How hard is it just to ignore something that annoys you? Also, not everyone here may have had the chance to join in the discussion, and maybe missed it the other times or around or be new.
