Poll: What do you use?

This question has appeared in my mind over a few threads so I thought I might as well ask.

Fellow escapists, what do you use more? (and why if you want to)

Me, Desktop. For its power, and internet. Mobility? Pah, who needs to move.

I use my laptop.

It's a leftover from my days at university, so when this baby packs up, I'll probably end up getting a desktop.

Laptop. I chose one computer to own, and since I'm not a hardcore competitive gamer, I grabbed a laptop so I could bring it just about anywhere.

Desktop, how can you expect me to use a slow computer with one tiny monitor and crappy speakers?

I use a desktop, I got it quite cheap only £300. It can run the games I want it to I haven't bought any games for it yet except S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call of Pripyat.

I use my Iphone for posting on the escapist. and my desktop to view porn . I use my laptop for world of warcraft .

I use a laptop.

I use it mainly for work since it's really convenient, but I do use it too for just hopping around the internet.

I plan on buying a desktop someday, someday.....

Err Desktop since that is the only type of pc that I ever.
Well ok I used to have a Netbook (if that count) since I was away from home for a week althought it brought down a few weeks later (was able to get my money back).

Laptop at the moment. It's useful since I can take it with me to university. I do also want a desktop though. Just don't have the cash for it right now.

Sort of this. Laptop - it's useful because I need mobility. Besides, I too don't have the money for a desktop, although I prefer it (the one I have at home is quite far away...) - as a friend of mine calls it "It's the computer made for humans". As opposed to laptops, of course.

But I put up with it because I have to.

I mostly use my desktop, but I prefer to use my laptop for schoolwork, and it's also useful for going on trips and such, especially this Summer when I'll be traveling back and forth a bunch.

Laptop, because I go to school and need the mobility. My ability to take notes by hand deserted me years ago, so now it's a laptop or nothing for me.

Once I finish school and get a job though I'll buy myself a proper gaming desktop.

Right now- Laptop, the keyboard is quiet for late night college work because I procrastinated all day, mouahahaha!

I can play my games, and then switch to not wake up parents at like 4 in the morning. :3

40k posts on a netbook keyboard?! Ouch, my fingers hurt thinking about that.

OT: I use a desktop at uni halls, and a netbook when I'm back at home. Cheaper and better as a combo than a laptop.

Laptop. Not only can I use it at home, but at work as well. That way I wouldn't have to deal with outdated computers and I get to play my music.
