Poll: What do you wear on your feet around the house?

So, the title says it all really. When you are around the house, what do you wear on your feet? I myself normaly wears socks, cause...I don't know, I just like the feeling. Anyway, have fun wasting otherwise productive hours talking about feet!

I usually just wear socks in the house. I don't like being barefoot that much but sometimes I am too lazy to take off my shoes so I just leave them on if they aren't dirty

Actually, it depends on the weather. In winter, I'll wear these slippers that don't leave my (badly circulated) feet freezing in the evenings, and in summer I'll wear flipflops (or similar)... though I'm OK barefoot as well... *shrug*

When on carpet or in bed - nothing
When on a hard surface - slippers or really thick socks

Socks. It feels comfortable.

That way I can pick easily grabbable things up off the floor without having to bend down. Having dexterous feet comes in very handy.

I don't understand why some people constantly wear shoes around the house. They're missing out on a lot of good uses for feet.

I wear nothing since it's now summer. During winter, I sometimes wear socks. Lovely, cozy socks

Bare foot, we have very polished varnish floors and stairs so I fall down in my socks.

I know, I always thought it was weird. I never like wearing shoes in the first place, so wearing them around the house just seems...wrong.

I usually wear socks, though it isn't uncommon for me to go barefoot.

Socks most of the time, the floor in the kitchen of my uni residence is filthy, so I'm not going barefoot there, but if I'm going for a shower I'll go barefoot, or if I'm particularly cold in my room I'll wear slippers.

I just walk around in my socks but if I was outside and had my shoes on, then I just keep them on. Unless they're dirty.

I always have socks on indoors, and if I come from outside I make sure to take my shoes off. It just feels rude otherwise

Well, since 99.9% of the time, the shoes I wear are work boots, they aren't suitable for indoors xD. So I just wear socks around the house. The only time I never actually wear anything is when I'm in the shower, really.

Slippers. Even though I'm used to watching where I walk, nothing is worse than having socks on and stepping in cat vomit.

I live in Australia. Bare Feet.

I have bare feet and they're still sweaty.

God damn it.

In fact even in winter I still don't really wear socks. My girlfriend does though, she loves slippers and socks.

I pretty much wear either shoes or nothing, I think it's stupid/disgusting to wear just socks.
They're sweat absorbers and blister preventers, not footwear.
They just get dirty and worn out (as in holes in them) if you wear them without shoes. I like my socks to last, I have socks which I've owned since 2008[footnote]And they're hand me downs from my dad who had them for countless years before that.[/footnote]. In fact I'll be wearing them soon as I head out.

Disclaimer: I don't think people who wear just socks are stupid or disgusting, simply the act it's self.
For example: I think that picking your nose is disgusting, but I don't think that people who do it are disgusting.
Same goes for sneezing, or getting someone else's blood on you.
