Poll: What game are you purchasing October 9th?

I plan on picking up both X-COM and Dishonored when they are released on October 9th. The only problem I face is which one to install and play first.

I already have XCom preordered and payed off.
Worth it just because they'll creating a special PC UI, integrated mod support, and more XCom.
I plan on getting Dishonered by the end of the year (want to see reviews first. It could be epic, or go horribly, horribly wrong)
Borderlands 2...I don't think I have enough self control to resist that. Hell, I'm playing through the original now with a friend, I forgot how much fun Borderlands was.

I'm going to wait a few months, possibly a year, and get Dishonored when it goes cheaper. Plus if there's any DLC, I may just wait for the special edition/GotY edition/whatever.

I have never paid $60 for a game.

Considering the fact that October 9th is my birthday, I better not be buying a game. Someone better be buying ME a game. And of the choices given to me, I would take Dishonored. However, I will take a raincheck if Assassin's Creed III is gifted at launch.

By the time October 9th comes around I'll probably be playing Pokemon Black 2.

I really want to play Dishonored as soon as possible, but I have to keep my head and remember that this is 2012, there is going to be DLC and I should wait for a steam sale and get the whole game.

Also for some strange reason that game is slightly cheaper than most games are at launch. Dunno why that is.

Instead, I'll have purchased both Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 two days prior, and will be receiving my preorder of the brand new Coheed and Cambria album on the 9th.

Shameful as this response no doubt is, I'll probably be getting Just Dance 4. Number 3 was genuinely good fun, and I'm looking for something light and non-violent at the moment.

Ill say.. Fable (even though I wont be, because I have no intention to buy anything new in october) Simply because it will be completely underrepresented.

Dishonored might well be good, but... It being from Bethesda leaves it as quite questionable. It being a new IP leaves it as questionable. So its definitely the type of game I would hold off and see others reactions, perhaps even rent it to try it.

The rest indicate and reinforce how weak this years line up has been.

If I were to buy a game it would be Dishonored but I have enough games that I haven't gone through yet so I'll probably pick it up during the winter sale.
That and I'm semi concerned the game might get semi gimicky, ie you specialize in one type of kill style and pretty much do the same thing over and over.

As I have told many others, it's not made by Bethesda, it's published by Bethesda. There is a difference. Arkane Studios are the ones actually making the game.

I would like to get both but I'd probably choose Dishonored first. Definitely want to play them both though.
