I am planning on buying some new games soon but I can only get one at the moment and I am a bit stuck on what to get. So from the following games which should I pick up first some pro's and con's would be nice as well.

Deus Ex HR, Seriously that game is visually stunning, It makes you think and the choices you make have far reaching consequenses. yes tyhe boss fights are unfair but onece you see past that, it's amazing.
I have heard some really good stuff about Deus Ex, I haven't played the first one does that matter.
Rage because it looks somewhat akin to fallout 3 and fallout 3 is goooood. But for Deus Ex since it's a prequel it doesn't matter the developers knew alot of the people who played the game wouldn't of played the first one. Dead island is okay I guess I wouldn't rush out to get it unless your gonna play it with friends. Warhammer felt hack and slashy with guns nothing special. Gears of War would be a safe choice. I liked the single player but not the multiplayer because when I shoot someone I don't want them to walk it off and chainsaw me in half.
I voted Deus Ex. I haven't played any of the others yet and I'm sure they're great too, but I just finished Human Revolution and I'm still reeling from how mind-blowingly awesome it was.
No, it doesn't. I haven't played the first one either and I never felt lost with the plot. If you really feel like you need some back story going into it then just consult Wikipedia before you play.zombie goat fetish said:
