To me, Christmas is a time to celebrate the spirit of giving, and to spend time with many members of my family. It is a time of joy and laughter for everyone. However, some people seem to think it is just a scandal to promote consumerism. So what do you think Escapists?
P.S. Of course consumerism is a side effect of Christmas since people have to, y'know, buy gifts to give and what not. Does it truly make up the entirety of Christmas though? Also, no, you cannot say "both" because of the reason I just stated.
