Yea, you seem to be missing Fallout 3 and Fallout Tactics. Anyways, out of the two I would definatly go with Fallout 2, it was a much bigger and more challenging game when compared to the first. I managed to finish the first in around 15 hours, while the second easily took me more than 30. Both great games though.

Fallout 2 is my favourite, just because of all the things you could do. Fallout would be tied with FO2 if the game didn't crash all the time and screw up my save files. I really like Fallout 3, but I wish it had more sidequests and more settlements - the Capitol Wasteland is tiny compared to the Wastelands of previous games.

I never realised that butyou are completely right. The Capitol Wastes had like 2-3 "friendly" settlements while Fallout 1 and 2 have 10+(I'm still trying to find all of them and it is REALLY hard to find Eastern ones due to Super Mutants)Tattaglia said:
I am actually having another playthrough on Fallout 1, just came back from the Glow. My favorite is Fallout 1, because of Necropolis and the cathedral. I freaking love these places - I have extremely cool memories of me as a kid, totally new to RPGs, coming to necropolis and fighting the zombies (ghuls, i know). But it is a close tie between 1 and 2.
2 because of dialog, depth of characters, and as someone mentioned here waaaaaay more settlements then Fallout 3. Although I have high hopes for New Vegas.
As you can see by looking at some posts here, it's just because the 10-year olds haven't played any other Fallout game, or simply do not grasp RPGs and like FPS's more. That last part is just me projecting, but anyway...Judgement101 said:

Fallout 1 was absolutely incredible. So was the sequel.
Fallout Tactics was also quite amazing.

Fuck the third game.
Also, nobody will vote for Brotherhood Of Steel. That was an awful, awful game.
My vote goes with the second game.
