By definition no-one could call themselves evil. Anyone who says they're 'evil' wants to be evil, or to be seen as evil, and I would say is trying to impress someone. Or at least that's what I would say in the majority of cases, it might not apply to you - or you might not consciously believe it to be the case.
However, if we look at things as always being driven by a wish for acceptance, both sexually and socially I'd say the motivations are pretty clear.

All I'm trying to say is that anyone who doesn't describe themselves as good or neutral either lacks an understanding of the terms they are using, is lying or would live a life filled with regrets and a believed lack of control over their lives. It would be shallow and pointless.

I totally cheated. I'm technically 17 but I raised myself up a rank because it's only a month before I turn 18, and I didn't want to be part of the annoying demographic. Also, it makes this bottle of scotch I'm drinking while feeling sorry for myself seem more acceptable.

No I don't go into the IRC, personally its not my cup of tea. The few times I did go on there the only persons company I enjoyed was Anarchmetis(sp?) and to a lesser extent Nuke Classic. The rest of it was the typical - *hugs X* - "OH HAI GUYS" - /injokes - etc that I go to forums to get away from. You guys like that shit and that's fine by me, but you can;t expect everyone else to care or understand.
I won't go ask The Rookie Gamer what /wacky/ shenanigans you and him got up to. I'm sure it'd be a real laugh!
Honestly, if you can't make a post without needing people to have spent hours in IRC to understand then maybe it shouldn't be made. Lastly I'd like to ask why you didn;t respond to any of my post - at all. Where I showed you how you're not evil by definition, and then yuo fobbed me off effectively saying "Nah bro, you don't get it".
Seeing as you're a mod - could you tell me why people with over 50 posts can't be allowed to opt out of the captcha stuff? I'd really appreciate that.
Interesting, but kinda confirms my impressions of this site. It's as if the Escapist population reflects the stereotypical videogame demographic, when the actual demographics (not including casual games) is about 8-10 years older with a good third or more of them female. I know, a lot of you don't believe that, but look up the various industry studies (the ones the AAA companies commission to make marketing decisions on).
Hey, no slam on college age males-- I was one myself. But I do think that their internet prescence and perhaps even industry influence outweighs their actual numbers. Younger guys just like to opine away on computer forums. For whatever reason, doesn't seem to be a huge girl and/or middle aged thing to do.
