I voted Green since that is their appearence but realistically everyones eye colour is actually blue. This colour is the base of the iris. What makes them gray, green or brown, plus everything in between, is the quantity & distribution of the eumelanin pigment in & around the iris. The different blendings of blue with granules of black results in these varieties of eye colours.

There for the alleles for eye colour dont code for individual colours but the quantity & positioning of dark pigments in the iris.

Hazel, although the brown to green ratio seems to vary wildly every time I look at them, probably just the light but it was damned confusing when I was younger, different people saying I had Green, brown and Hazel eyes. Although this morning they were mainly red.

I believe mine are either hazel or green...Either way, it's green with a blue hue around the pupil so they tend to look green or blue under different lighting and from different angles. Sometimes it's annoying when people try to correct me on my own eye-color. "You have pretty blue eyes." "They're green." "Well they look blue." "Yeah they do that, but they're really green." "Well they're blue..." "THEY'RE FUCKING GREEN DON'T CORRECT ME."

Hazel, that occasionally shift in opacity. Sometimes it'll appear more green, sometimes more brown.

It's quite fun, really.

I've got those weird blue-green-grey eyes that change colour depending on the lighting and surroundings and whatnot. I'm told it's a fairly rare eye colour, so that's pretty cool I guess.

Blue, with a tiny little circle of gold around the iris, so that's pretty neat.

I'm also told that they turn green when I'm angry.

Grey with a hint of blue. I get a mix of reactions to my eyes, some people think they are nice, others think they are cold.

Big, brown eyes, but apparently in the sunshine and/or brighter lighting, I've been told they are a light brown.

A very simple question and poll I'm putting up because I want to know the eyeball distribution on the Escapist.

I actually learned very recently (yesterday specifically) that my eyes are actually gray. Shattered my reality because I thought they were dark blue my entire life, I guess other types of eyes don't randomly turn blue or green like mine do which blew my mind.

So Escapist, what is your eye color?
same deal as you. some people say dark blue, the mirror says gray, and my ex-wife said they changed colors. the world may never know their true color.

Good question lol

Mine range anywhere from bright green to blue hitting grey and hazel in the middle. They tend to stay more green and hazel than anything else.

I have green eyes in the dark, regularly I have blue-green eyes, and in bright light I have blue-gray.

Isn't hazel that brownish/yellowish color? Or is it when there's a mix of colors and instead of shouting out every color a person's eyes can be you just say "Hazel" like it actually means something?
Because I have blue, green, yellow and brown and depending on distance and light source, they can be just about any color you can imagine. And I have a gray speck directly in the middle of my right eye.

Depends on the light; Blue/yellow/green pigments.
In brighter light, blue.
In darker light, green.
