My Jayne hat, cause it was made by my best friend and people know when I walk down the street wearing it that I'm not afraid of anything.

I love fedoras. It's that old school look that I just... <3 I'd wear one myself but I don't have the right kinda clothes for it. :< Sadly fedoras don't go well with t-shirts and shorts.

Someone up above recommended a Panama. It's basically a warm weather fedora. Looks right with shorts and a t.

The trilby of course. Worn by 1920's robbers with Chicago Typewriters. Doesn't get cooler than that. It's stylish, goes perfect with suits, and you're always known as "the guy with the cool hat" if you wear it regularly (unless there are several people with trilbies). I'd wear mine, but I stopped wearing it when I got dreadlocks. Now it doesn't fit my head.

Ooo... that DOES look good. Now I just need to find a place that sells them.

Fedora. Unfortunately, the closet I could get is a trilby, so if I got on the internet, everyone will think I'm a Yahtzee rip-off.

But you can't go wrong with a trilby. Well, unless you get a patterned one, then you look like a twirp.
mine looks plain from a distance but when you get closer you notice dark red pinstipes, does that count?

yeah i chose Fedora/Trillby since i have one.
but if i ever saw a Top hat for sale i would immediately buy it...then head straight to an optometrist to see what they could do in terms of monocles

Same, weather here is too warm to warrant a Ushanka

I own a variety of hats. My favourites would have to be either the pith helmet or the fez.

I'd love to get a proper army helmet, like a Brodie, an M1, or a stahlhelm.

I own about one of every type of hat in your list. My Rasta hat inspires much commentary, and I don't wear berets properly; cowboy hats and fedoras look awkward with their giant brims on my five-two frame; but my grey plaid cabby is by far the best looking on my crazy head.

I actually can pull off a beret. I played sousaphone in the marching band and had to wear one. However if I wear a hat it's usually a beanie with whatever logo over my left eye (I dunno it's something I started doing a long time ago). Sometimes when I'm feeling artsy I'll wear one of those rasta/beanie things that only covers the back of my head. It;s almost like a yarn net (hard to explain, but it;s for women).

I'd like to start wearing those flat caps but I dunno if chicks can pull those off. I just like the way they look.
