I couldn't fit Shaun of the Dead, because i had to fit in the "Other" option, so just pick "Other" for Shaun of the Dead, if you please.
Well bring "other" back because I say Dead Alive... Or possibly Evil Dead.

Oh, and where's the option of Evil Dead, Man?
They're demons.

Just saying.
No they weren't they were corpses being controlled by daemons, which still counts as a zombie. Actually that is what the original voodoo kind of zombie is, as I recall.

Voodoo zombies aren't dead. And it was originally spelled Vodou when referring to them.

And shut up. You're making me look bad. :(

Never, and I am fairly certain they were, dead that is.

Evil Dead were dead.

And damn you...you're right.
"Haitian zombies were once normal people, but underwent zombification by a "bokor" or voodoo sorcerer, through spell or potion. The victim then dies and becomes a mindless automaton, incapable of remembering the past, unable to recognise loved ones and doomed to a life of miserable toil under the will of the zombie master."

Admit that you were sent from the future to destroy me.

To save face: "There have been some rare occasions of juju zombies temporarily regaining part of their mental faculties. This rare occurrence has only been observed when a zombie encounters situations that have heavy emotional connections to their mortal lives."

Oh, noes! I must where my flux dispersal unit went. Although actually on the matter of the Vodou zombies (same as the Haitian zombies) they weren't dead they merely appeared it, however the rest is right.
My source: Wikipedia. Tried to get web page but my computer wouldn't let me.

I liked the Dawn of the Dead remake and the 28 days/weeks movies equally.

Shaun of the Dead was funny but it is a comedy first and a zombie movie second in my mind.

It appears our conflict is resolved.

My uncle once told me that the cane sugar packet I was pouring into my coffee could have been packed by a Vodou zombie. He's a little eccentric.

So far, from what i can see about the general public, people care more about the comedy of a movie then anything else...

Note: i loved Shaun of the Dead, i have my own copy in my movie rack besides me. I was more hoping this thread ot be about the real, emotionally gripping movies like 28 Days and Dawn, but.. whatever, it's the publics choice.
