It's music for me. Every time I curious about a new album, I somehow seem to come away with that one and eight others as well. Hence the 120 Gigs of music (and not one of them pirated).

Plus I play music, so buy a few instruments from time to time (am eyeing this one [http://breedlovemusic.com/guitars/american-series-guitars/c25-sse] now).

Video games come in second. Then books. I have a kindle too, but books for it are generally pretty cheap (a lot of the old ones are public domain, so you can download them for free). But then there are textbooks. $250 for a microbiology textbook? All my rage.
That guitar is gorgeous. Coming from a fellow music-obsessive, I understand your plight.

Food is up there too. Damn fatass I am.
Wait until you decide to eat healthy/supplement. If you threw all your money into a big pile and set it on fire it wouldn't disappear any faster. =\

Hobbies...

Be it Warhammer 40k, Warmachine, Hordes, Magic the Gathering (not any more thought, and not so much a hobby I guess).

I actually have been trying to diet lately. It's insulting how much more expensive being healthy has to be.

Video games and stuff I buy from Thinkgeek. Those guys annoyingly have everything I want, and everything I need but with cooler looks.

Music I tend to buy at least four new albums a month. Its weird I worked out I spend more on music than video games in a year which surprises me as I'd assume it would have been the other way around.

Mine would be Magic cards followed closely by Video Games and then Books. What fun.

My money is pretty evenly distributed between girlfriend maintenance and upkeep, drinking at bars I can't afford, buying Steam games I don't need and guitar parts for my odd projects. When I manage to find a real job I'll be sure to add cocaine and hookers to the list.

Books...

I unashamedly buy books at full price. At home we (my old man and I) have a room specifically for our truckload of books, we could open a damned bookstore/library of our own and retire, in all likelihood. So much so the piano's rather buried... o_O'

Conversely, my sister's a total cheapskate and has virtually every free book going on her kindle...
i know what you mean.

i buy certain things on my kindle. the kind of stuff i wouldn't want on a study bookshelf.
however, i have about 40-50 physical books in a few stacks at my dad's place. mostly russian and soviet history and economics that i use for research.

i buy hard copies of educational and research stuff, and digitals of my Jeff Lindsay and my George Martin.

I'd say books, but a close second is simply cheap stuff!

I keep an eye on a 'deals' site in the UK, and I'm often treating myself to bits n pieces I normally wouldn't buy.

Finally moved into the 21st century when I got a refurbished android phone for £20 :) Finally replaced the old call n text Nokia.

Also organising my flat with a set of 20 box files I bought for about £11, kinda funny to see the UPS man hefting 4 big boxes up the stairs, knowing how little I paid, I can't see how they profit :)

As for books, finally updated my Stephen King collection, 26 nice, shiny new hardbacks for the same in pounds, again, kinda felt bad for the courier, dragging them up 3 flights of stairs to me!

Now got a lovely orderly bookcase that just goes KingKingKingKing... for a shelf and a half :)

Oh and having interest in 'The Hunger Games' movie trailer, I looked around for the book, but couldn't find it new for less than seven quid, then found somewhere selling the paperback trilogy for a fiver! Bargain.

Clothes and cosplay. For the upcoming convention I've only spent £40 on my costume though, so that's not too bad!
Ahh, sarcasm...

Generally, when given the money, sharp objects of metal for removing life from my enemies. A.k.a. my sword and knife collection. More often, books and games, since those are cheaper.

Shooting's pretty fun, and while not a cost-effective means of entertainment, it does build a marketable skill in my line of work (security).

Video Games, I bought over 1000 dollars worth of games new last year. I think I bought 25+ video games new, and maybe only 5 games used. The next biggest money sink would be NERF Guns. I buy a lot of those as well.

Video Games easily. I don't read much because I r b stupid. Music is good, but there isn't anything I don't have I care for or want. I used to spend a lot on manga, but then they came out with a lot of series I like at once and raised the price, so I don't anymore. I also don't spend much movies anymore because I know I'll never watch them after the 20th time.

save your brass and reload them. thats what my dad does, and what i used to do before i moved into campus housing (they don't look kindly on me keeping a security six in my lockbox). leads are pretty cheap, even cheaper if you just buy a solid lead ingot.
