Sweden, i live in a small town about a 3 hour drive from the capitol.

Hate the summers but the love the winters, mostly out of my allergies which make me feel like a snorlax in the summer since going outside hampers my breathing somewhat.

Winter is always fun though, spent a new years eve just walking in a neighbouring town for a couple of hours and the feeling of having snow and ice frosted on your face and walking into a warm room was really something.
+ i have a fireplace where i live and thats always comfy.

Can add that i dont understand a single word the Norwegian's say, but can understand the unholy hybrid of Swedish and Danish that is Skåne dialekt.

Another patron from the United American States, particularly of the Michigan state (The one surrounded by the Great Lakes), of the Lower Peninsula.
It's where I've grown up and might stay in. We've got water and trees, and Canada's nearby.

First one from Finland to reply!
Southern Parts of Finland to be more precise, 90 km west from out capital.
Small Town boy!
Damn you, now I won't feel as special anymore!
OT: I'm also in Finland, pretty south, 80 kilometres more north than east of the capital, in a small town of Hollola (go ahead, try to pronounce it), but I was born a lot more northwest in a larger city of Seinäjoki.
Yes, I always give very detailed answers to these types of questions.
I mean, you asked.
Nice another Finn!!
I know were Hollola is, my great Grandmother is from there, even been there a couple of times.

Sweden, more specifically Scania(the southern part of Sweden none of you have ever heard of.)
Sure we have. Now where is my shovel :D

OT: Im from a region in the South East of Sweden called Småland. It's a region with dense forests and small rocky mountains. I live near the city of Kalmar. This area is mostly famous for our castle, that the city was the capital of Norway, Denmark and Sweden once upon a time, the glass art form Orrefors and Kosta-Boda.

We are also famous for being a crappy area to grow food in, and about 30-50% of our population left for America in the 1830's :D

Allow me to introduce myself.
I am the only Maltese on the Escapist.
It's a shit country, never come here.
Nope, been here a year longer than you have.
Woah, someone else from Malta exists on the Escapist?!
My mind has been blown.
Good to know that someone else has taste.
S'ok, if anything you've just proved your Maltese-ness. It's pretty typical for Maltese to assume they're the only Maltese around in any sort of international place or forum. :p Min fejn int xbien, liema raħal? Jien sal Buġibba.

It's an acceptable assumption to make, considering the scarcity of our people.

I have dual nationality between France and the UK.

I'm a difficult prick so I won't pick "UK" just cos I refuse to ignore the other one. I can get pretty protective of my national identitiesssssssss.

Actually, it's interesting that you have options like Netherlands and Belgium but then you don't have Germany or France, any Scandinavian countries, South Africa, etc.

I live in Ontario Canada about a hour outside Toronto in a place called Oshawa. We get a fairly ranged degree of weather I suppose very hot summers and very cold winters sometimes to cold to even snow.

Canada tends to host a lot of different cultures in it so people have this weird tendency to not really identify themselves as Canadian and more with there heritage here.

Ummm second biggest country in the world. We have a railway that goes across the entire nation. Our provinces are bigger than most countries so naturally not many people who live here ever even see the entire nation or even go to every province. We have a insanely diverse landscape from some of largest mountain ranges to flat as far as you can see.

In Quebec most people speak french so we have 2 national languages French and English which is taught in all school from a young age. We have a lot in common with the US except we tend to be more laid back with issues that are rather large there. We are a very peaceful country most of us are very proud to be so.

I dunno I am sure some others will add to this I suppose.
A very nice description, fellow countryman.
