I personally don't. They kind of just go around ruining everyone's good time for "Teh lulz". I think they should just quit while there ahead.

They need to grow up. They're that schoolyard bully who tries to impress the older kids by hurting people for no reason. And they're too immature to realize that it's only funny to them.

Not really. But then again, most people who do illegal stuff for the "lulz" are moronic douchebags, so it isn't surprising.

No, mainly because they act so arrogant all the time.

A few attention starved hackers with to much free time if you ask me.

I don't tend to support people who commit illegal acts for nothing more than amusment.

They are evil through and through. I hope they get what's comming to them.

Is it good that they're showing that current companies are not effectively protecting your data (don't get me started on the SQL injection...)? Yes. Does this mean I like the hackers? NO.

Complete assholes. They aren't even like anonymous where they atleast THINK they're doing what's right. No they just do whatever, though I do like anonymous.

*Ahem*

Allow me to somewhat misquote someone in reference to another ?group? that sums up my views on LulzSec

Lulzsec:
? likes wanton cruelty and destruction
? like over-the-top Saturday-morning-cartoon villainous posturing
? dislikes being thwarted
? dislikes helping others
We've seen Evil groups before before. 4chan, Trolls, perhaps even Anon at times. Though they were Evil, they were always intelligible; some were ruthless, some were callous, some hot-tempered, and others were insecure. We could understand why they were that way, even if they were irritating as all hell.

But Lulzsec? Completely different. Lulzsec is proper Monstrous-Manual 'Always Neutral Evil'; it shows up on Detect Evils from miles away and has absolutely not one single redeeming trait in all of its members. This group triumphs in random acts of inhumanity and, conversely, despises any form of kindness or compassion. Its one comprehensible emotion is probably selfishness.

Tl;dr version: These guys are evil and have no motovation other than "Let's blow shit up". Thus, I hate them.

They be hacking my shit man, they can die in a pit of fire for all I care. Anyone who hacks for the "Lulz" deserves whatever punishment the FBI wants to give them yet I will still yell out "thats not bad enough! make them suffer!!!"

Has it been confirmed that they are the ones who hacked the PSN? If so, I quite like them for giving me free games. Otherwise, they annoy me just as much as all the other "Hacktivists".

I don't really get a crap about them personally, but it's a nice talking point if nothing else. At their root, they are a waste of space who get off on screwing with big companies. But sooner or later they are going screw with the wrong people and pay dearly for it.

They're Anonymous without a purpose. So...they're the bad, destructive side with none of the order and greater goals.

I'm no fan of Anonymous, but I can at least see potential for good to come from them being around. Lulzsec on the other hand...they seem like the aspiring usurpers that don't understand how things are meant to work (I hear Saw got like that, but I didn't watch past #3).

So yeah, not a fan.

No,I don't like them or any hacking group because for all they claim, they destroy everything else on the web. This is a fragile place and though it will stand as a wad on the forest floor rotting,it will be far less powerful and never again will it be the same.

I think its amusing really. That so many companies have fallen victim to the "Lulz boat."

I think it would be nice if they all decided to go and do something that is actually constructive but...

I am supporting them simply because so many governmnets and companies do not like them yet cannot catch them.

I hate hackers and I hate anarchists, so I have a special kind of supreme hatred for "people" like them. It's such a cowardly form of crime, they never face their victims, at least robbers usually have a pair.

Edit: Of course the votes look like a penis.. I'm trying to be serious face!

They want attention, and this is giving it to them.

Honestly, I have said this quite a few times, but this sums up my thoughts on it relatively well; I don't know which is scarier, the fact that all these companies and corporations probably have shit for security, or that hackers are just getting smarter to the point where anything is considered shit security.

These attacks will have a lasting effect. Before all this, I had no idea that hacks like these go unreported all the time to keep a company's image intact. Hell, banks get hacked all the time, money stolen from under their noses, nobody knows about it. That's not to say I support these people, of course I don't.

But it almost feels like a revolution is taking place for internet security. It's just a revolution that I don't think should be happening in the first place.
