Poll: What kind of element would you bend?

I don't quite understand the Avatar universe.

As far as I was concerned, they could only bend: fire, earth, air, and water.

I'm a little confused as to how blood would bend?

ALSO: Ma-Ti! With the power of heart!

Later in the series they develop advanced forms of bending.

Blood has a lot of water in it (or so they explain in the show), and during a full moon waterbenders can bend the blood of people to either make them their puppets or simply kill them.

But doesn't blood have Iron in it?
So earthbenders should be able too to...

Fire, because by the time you learn to bend Lightning, you just need to point your hand at someone and they're fried (I'd like to see YOU dodge a lightning bolt)

water can, since it can lead the lightning away.

and you need zero training for that.

Considering that each type of "bending" is attributed to various styles of martial arts as well as the "elements," I'd have to pick fire bending. The northern shaolin kung fu style is something I'd rather like to learn one day. Ba Gua, the martial style behind air bending, is cool too.

well no it's too few of it. and too small.
even if you could get ahold of it, what are you gonna do with that few of iron?

Quite possibly, but earthbenders can only bend metal that has imperfections in it...so I don't know how "imperfect" the iron in the human body is...damn you science!

I don't know much about the universe, so I'd pick fire, but only if I could conjure it. If the element had to be there already, I'd definitely pick air.

Fire is the only type of bending that can be conjured, but Earth and Air are always around.

So is water if you include water vapor. Or you're own bodily fluids.

I've never seen anyone bend spit or anything, but then again I don't think they have ever tried on the show XD

Earth->Metal
Simply because almost everything has some amounts of metal in it.
And half of the real elements are metals.
E.g.: Magneto's escape from his cell in X-Men.
If it is only FORGED metal. then I would go with water.

I sould bend fire because I like burning things and it's easier to kill things with fire then pussy ass water or even *laughs* air.

Water would later let you learn to bend blood. You could simply press it out of their bodies and make them explode. As for your tower comment. You could make it pressurized and use it to "cut" down towers.

So i'm going with water/blood/plant... though i'm not sure what i'd use that last one for

Water would be amazing to bed. So slow and fluid and you can heal too! On the other hand Earth would also be fun too.
