Video game, anime/manga (without being too annoying and weabooish about it. I have interest in the culture, language and history and can also speak more Japanese than "kawaii," "yaoi," and, "sugoi"), and D&D nerd.

Well, roleplay nerd, really. We're doing 'Vampire: The Masquerade' at the moment, and I'm bugging our DM to let us do a Planescape campaign next.

Well, I realise now that I get more giddy and excited at a museum than getting a new video game, so I must resign myself to art nerd first, video game nerd... something else.

Video game/computer, anime/manga, movie, sci-fi and I'd love to get into D&D more.

Also: Where's the option for Fantasy and Military Tech/History (and history in general)?
Because I'm also those.

I enjoy video games and all that, but I wouldn't class myself as a nerd.

I'm technically a hybrid. D&D, Video Games, Anime, and tech. I have a mild obsession over the cyberpunk style setting.

I watch a lot of movies so I guess I'm more of a movie nerd, I stopped playing video games and I don't watch enough anime or read comic enough comic books to be classified with them, but all these elements are present in some degree. I'm mostly here for Loading Ready Run so I don't know, I dabble.

I'd like to consider myself "a Renaissance nerd". I kinda like all aspects of geekiness, but I never dig too deep into them.

I think you'll find it's the other way round, man. Geeks are the overspecialised, socially-inept ones; Nerds are the fairly general, reasonably social people; Dorks are just stupid and awkward. I'd have to go with nerd myself.

OT: Ah, can't go wrong with sci-fi. I love film too, but give me a good bit of SF lit and I'll be occupied for the rest of the day.

I like to call myself an "entertainment geek/nerd" as my choices for entertainment are all pretty much geeky and generally very broad; from sci-fi/fantasy books and movies, comics, videogames, boardgames, cardgames, the whole spectrum of nerdy fun appeals to me.

Sure that's not all I like, bring on sports as well (most of them are games too y'know), but overall; yeap, entertainment nerd.

I'm not a nerd. I don't even think of myself as a geek. Introverted, yes. Geeky/nerdy, not so much.
