I've never raged at a game without having gone into it already pissed off at something unrelated to the game, and usually it's over some kind of bullshit stuff the other team is pulling(as competitive gameplay is about the only thing to push me over that point) such as spawn camping and such.

No teamwork is my main one, but if I'm lagging in a game pretty baddly I'll rage quit. There have been times where I've killed an enemy in CoD, by emptying a clip into him, only to die and the killcam revealing that not only was I shooting at a wall but I only fired 1 bullet before dying.

I don't really rage-quit. I'm not really an angry person. I just occasionally "frustration-quit" if I feel like I'm not playing up to my usual standards and getting constantly owned as a result. It's more like a "*Sigh* Not really my day. Can't be bothered with this..." quit as opposed to a "FUCK THIS SHIT I'M LEAVING!!!" quit.

This. Motherflipping this.
When the enemy team pulls a dick move that I can't counter and makes the game unwinnable. Especially when, in this instance both teams are at the finish, but both teams get the crud shot out of them by snipers the moment they poke their heads out. I hate stalemates.

Also, when I just can't play.

Yeah. This, too. I'm not much of an angry person either, but that does bug me enough to frustratedly do something else.

It's rare that I actually rage, and when I do it's usually because of repeated issues with the game itself. I simply leave when I stop having fun.

I don't rage quit because I don't get into a rage. Its a game, I'm there to entertained and have fun. I don't understand how people can get wound up about it It just strikes me as immature.

Train MMA and see how far raging or rage quitting gets you.

Cheap tactics. There's no point to combat pragmatism when you're playing a game on the internet. It's better to have fun than win.

I don't quit in the middle of games. Not unless I have to go and do something that I value as more important, like say, go to work, or see what that giant crash was in my house.

Team Fortress 2.

I am top of the team by a gap of 50% of my points between the guy below me... and the rest of my team... and my team losing...

I will try to verbally bully my team into action... if that fails, I quit. At the end of the round of course. Even if we're going to fail I see that fail through to the end xP

I absolutely don't ragequit. If the other player/team is WAY better than me, then I'll take my loss and leave the lobby afterwards. If they're significantly better than me in a fighting game, then I'll keep on trying until I can scrape a win. I'm all about improving, and quitting in the middle is completely counter-productive. If I'm playing a shooter and dragging my team way down, then I may quit out of courtesy, not out of anger.

The only game that's made me rage quit is League of Legends.

If you play tank/support, you can do everything perfectly only to have it all ruined by a dumb ass teammates who do all the wrong things at the wrong times, and then see fit to try and argue that you're the cause of it, merely because of your Kill/Death spread.

Where's the "Game breaking bugs/glitches" poll option?

I'm clever enough to play online with communities I trust and approve of, so none of the others apply.

I ragequit last night in Minecraft when I was up in the Aether and got knocked by a gust of wind to fall onto a narrow ledge below, killing me. I ragequit because all of my equipment fell off that ledge to be irretrievably lost in the oblivion below. So, yeah, I got owned by the environment.

I rage quit when, in the middle of a game that I'm winning, my computer BSoDs.
That is the only thing that I've ever 'rage quit'.

I have a couple of reasons even though I don't like to ragequit, but I have one that pisses me off more.

One would be because I get tired of seeing the same character destroying me because of a signature move (or two) that is being used over and over and over, and top it off with a special move to end it. For example, in Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, I hate fighting against Sage Naruto and Minato because they spam Rasengans.

Another would be hearing people speak with their mics. Hearing them say "You suck.", "Noob.", "Scrub", or a random cuss word, good lord this is why I play without a microphone so I don't have to hear it. I know I have the option to play against people witout it, but half of the time, it's hard to find players that chose the same option as me.

It's a mix of Getting owned, and No Teamwork for me, on singleplayer games or games like Gmod, i usually quit because im tired of getting killed before getting a chance to do much, on games like TF2, i'll quit because my team doesn't know how to defend it's own intel.
