Poll: What Mass Effect Race Would You Be?

I would be an Elcor. Generally, I was unimpressed with the races in Mass Effect, since most of them seemed like they were taken straight from the book of "Cliché races in Sci-fi". However, I was really impressed by the way the Elcor spoke, which was both unique and highly amusing at the same time. It made any sort of conversation with the Elcor pure gold:

EDIT: Another reason I liked the Elcor is beacuse they didn't rely only on their legs for walking. Too often, "alien" races tend to be two-legged humanoids, so it's a refreshing change.

I'd likely be a male, paragon, Quarian, Infriltrator, but with one biotic power via the menu you get.

The Quarians all seem to have cool accents (Simon Templeman and Claudia Black ftw) but the whole immune system thing kind of sucks. Although to be honest I think Tali makes the Quarians look a lot more awesome than they actually are.
So thats why of the two I would be more likely to go for a plain old Human. Lets face it the Alliance kicks arse and we have Keith David and Admiral Bishop from Aliens. Need I say more?

first off, being a human in the ME universe doesn't seem that bad. you have the option to be anything from pure biotic to pure soldier.
i'd like to say drell, but we only really met one so it's hard to say how he resembles the race as a whole.
the turians seem like a strong and proud race, but unless i missed it, i've never heard mention of a turian biotic. and there don't seem to be many females either (big minus there!).
for me then, being an asari could be interesting ... long lived, strong biotic power, able to use most weapons (read: asari commando units). and given that i don't ever recall seeing a male asari ... well, you get the implication.

I'd be a Quarian most likely, seeing as I love technology and have a shitty immune system. That and they have the coolest suits.
For sex,I'd say a little bit of both I have no bloody idea.
For class, Engineer without a doubt. Combat drones, SMGs and the ability to shoot fireballs just sounds awesome.

Asari adept, partly long lifespan and partly because it is as far removed from reality as possible (I.e. I am a human male every day and biotic powers don't exist)
I would have to be Paragon though as I am so damn fluffy I even have a hard time playing a jerk in a game.
